SPECIALTY CLINIC OPENS
Friday, February 8th our patients were first seen in
the new Specialty Clinic area. MHLC is so excited
to have this additional
space to meet the needs of
our continually growing
Specialty Clinic. Audiolo-
gy, Orthopaedics and
Nephrology will be seeing
their patients in this area
having five exam rooms to
be able to see the patients
in a timely manner.
MHF DONATION
MHLC is very appreciative to the Memorial
Healthcare Foundation for donating $20,000 to
help ease the cost of furnishing the new Specialty
Clinic exam rooms with exam tables, medical
equipment and other necessary items to get this ar-
ea up and ready to see patients. Thanks MHF for
your continued support.

We bring together our collective strengths, our minds and our hearts
to champion the health and well-being of every person who calls our beautiful community home.
MHLC’s first annual
Men’s Health Aware-
ness Event was held on
Thursday, February
28th. We were over-
whelmed with the awe-
some community sup-
port with over 100
guests attending.
Presentations started with Alex Erickson, Cincinnati Bengal's
wide receiver talking on why your health should be a priority.
Dr. Matt Solverson discussed heart health, heart attacks and
strokes-signs and preventions. Dr. Ian Stormont discussed is-
sues unique to men, and some of the secondary issues spouses
may encounter. From the little blue pill to the newest least intru-
sive solutions to the nighttime trips to the bathroom. Dr. Dan
Stormont wrapped the presentations with the mental/cognitive
benefits of physical activity. He addressed the pros and cons of
your leisure and work activities, and realistic expectations of ac-
tivities in the face of arthritis and other medical issues. We had
delicious snacks provided by MHLC’s Dietary and Avon Locker.

EMPLOYEE EXCELLENCE
Staci Day, PA is our Provider of the month for March. She
is an excellent Orthopaedic Physician Assistant here at
MHLC working closely with Dr. Dan Stormont. She started
in July of 2018 and she loves
that she is working to make
patients feel better. She
picked Orthopaedics because
of the simple things they can
do to improve a person’s
quality of life. She loves
working with Dr. Dan be-
cause he truly cares for his
patients and wants to ensure
they are getting the best
overall healthcare they need.
