So far this year, our chapter has hosted several valua- ble trainings, including breakfast and luncheon meet- ings, data analytics trainings, and CAE Roundtables. We have promoted our profession to students at events at USD and CSUSM , and we have helped members prepare for the CIA exam by holding the CIA study groups. Some of our other successes this year have been being awarded the IIA’s Certification Grant, migrating key business functions onto Smartsheets where we automated business process and created a document repository so volunteers can easily store and access key documents, and starting the development of a master chapter mailing list. These accomplishments would not be possible with- out our many volunteers, speakers, sponsors, and business partners whose support allows us to promote the value we add to our businesses, communities, and each other as Internal Auditors . A special thanks to Savya Solutions and Donnelly Financial Solutions for partnering with us (and sponsoring the refreshments) for our September meeting. We are looking forward to seeing you at our final train- ing of the year held on December 11 at the Handlery Hotel. From the Desk of the President:

Greetings! We updated the format of our newsletter to

highlight the most important information and opportuni-

ties for you. Use the links throughout in this newsletter

to get more information and contact us..

So far this year, our chapter has hosted several valua-

ble trainings, including breakfast and luncheon meet-

ings, data analytics trainings, and CAE Roundtables.

We have promoted our profession to students at

events at USD and CSUSM , and we have helped

members prepare for the CIA exam by holding the

CIA study groups.

Some of our other successes this year have been

being awarded the IIA’s Certification Grant, migrating

key business functions onto Smartsheets where we

automated business process and created a document

repository so volunteers can easily store and access

key documents, and starting the development of a

master chapter mailing list.

These accomplishments would not be possible with-

out our many volunteers, speakers, sponsors, and

business partners whose support allows us to promote

the value we add to our businesses, communities, and

each other as Internal Auditors .

I would like to thank Sharp Healthcare, ResMed, San

Diego Workforce Partnership for hosting events last

quarter’s events. A special thanks to Savya Solutions

and Donnelly Financial Solutions for partnering with us

(and sponsoring the refreshments) for our September

meeting.

We are looking forward to seeing you at our final train-

ing of the year held on December 11 at the Handlery

Hotel. As you and your family prepare for the upcom-

ing holiday season, we hope you will join us in giving

back to our community and bring donations for our

Holiday Food Drive. Click HERE for more information

about the event.

Wishing you and your family Happy Holidays!
