Introduction2
The following presentation will guide AmeriCorps National Program users through how to enroll and place a member in MyAmeriCorps Portal.

Important Considerations3
All of the My AmeriCorps tutorials and webinars focuon the functionality of the system rather than grant requirements or program policies.
The My AmeriCorps system does not includecomprehensive compliance checks.
We recommend that programs set their own policies around system use and monitor usage for compliance. However, we suggest that programsgive some thought to how they assign roles andaccess so that they are comfortable with the level of authority they are giving their users.
If they have questions they should contact their program officer/program specialist or programdirector/project sponsor.

Click on Invite Members on the left navigational panel

Enter member’s dataand select theprogram, grant yearand member’s servicelocation
Click on Add Anotherto send the current invitation and enteranother invitation
Click Save to send one invitation andreturn to your homepage
Click Cancel to discardany entries you made

Make sure the XMLfile you want toupload meets thespecifications definedin the XML SchemaDefinitions (XSD)
Choose the ProgramYear, Program Titleand Service Location. Click Browse to selectthe XML file you want to upload

Enroll Members(Enrolling members who were Invited through the invitation process)

Until the invitee or you complete the member’s portion of theenrollment form, the members who were invited through theinvitation process will be listed under “Pending Invitations”

Click S&NWorkbaskets on theleft navigational panel. Then click thePending Invitationstab located on the topnavigational panel
Click the member’sname to open theenrollment form
Click Delete if you arenot going to enrollthe member

If you are going tocomplete themember’s portion ofthe enrollment form, you should completeit using theinformation given inenrollment form that was signed by themember

The member’senrollment form will appear under the“PendingEnrollments,” if youhad clicked on “saveinformation” on themember enrollment form from the“Pending Invitations” section or if theinvitee hadcompleted themember’s portion ofthe enrollment form

If the member hasnot completedhis/her portion, youcan complete it usingthe information givenin enrollment formthat was signed bythe member
