P1 OVERVIEW The MEM40412 Certificate IV in Engineering Drafting is a nationally accredited program which provides industry specific training for Draftspersons in the Air Conditioning and Mechanical Services Industry. AMCA (RTO 5139) is a peak industry body representing air conditioning and mechanical services across Australia. This course was created by AMCA members to meet the needs of the industry and graduates are highly sought after. PARTICIPATION To participate in the program you must be employed in a Mechanical Services Drafting office. AMCA DRAFTING COURSE The AMCA drafting program is designed to be flexible and responsive to individual, company and industry needs with a focus on: · use of up-to-date Industry and educational technology · current workplace practices · “hands on” workplace experiences · Computer Aided Design (CAD) Training and assessment is undertaken in the workplace. TUITION FEES * · AMCA Member - $8,700 per student (inclusive of gst). This rate is applicable to students from the state in which their employer is a member · AMCA Non Member - $12,000 per student (inclusive of gst) * AMCA VIC Member - for fee structure please contact AMCA Victoria office directly A separate fee structure is available for Recognition of Prior Learning. QUALIFICATION AWARDED At the successful completion of this course the participant will receive a MEM40412 Certificate IV in Engineering Drafting. Those students who do not complete this course or who are deemed not yet competent in any units will still receive a Statement of Attainment for those units they have completed.
