December 1, 2019 Melbourne’s tropical wonderland bursts into colour this summer! Discover Australia’s largest floral display of Lotus and Waterlilies at Blue Lotus Water Garden in Melbourne’s Yarra Valley from December 26, 2019 to April 13, 2020. Each year Geoff and Yvonne Cochrane open their 14 acre garden to thousands of visitors from Australia and beyond who come to admire the beauty of exotic Lotus flowers and magical Waterlilies. Thought to be the largest garden of its kind in the southern hemisphere, Blue Lotus Water Garden features dozens of man-made lakes and ponds covered in thousands of spectacular water flowers each summer. Highlights of the Garden include: Thousands of stunning Lotus and Waterlilies - all colours and sizes spread across acres of gardens. Giants of the Amazon Exhibit housing the largest species of Waterlily known to man including Victoria Longwood (hybrid) which can reach over 2m in diameter. Monet’s Lake containing 70+ varieties of Waterlily flowers including a prized collection of Claude Monet’s original Waterlilies from his garden in Giverny, France. Kakadu Lagoon a new feature in 2020 showcasing native Lotus and Waterlilies from northern Australia. Golden Lotus Exhibit - one of the largest lotus flowers on the planet with over 80 petals. Lotus Lake a virtual sea of colour with thousands of huge Carolina Queen & Crme Lutea lotus. Tropical garden - containing fountains, lakes and thousands of perennial flowers. Children’s activities a fairy garden complete with a fairy queen, fantasy cubby houses, rainbow slide, goldfish feeding, adventure spotto, face painting and more. Kids entry is free! Melbourne’s tropical wonderland bursts into colour this summer!

Discover Australia’s largest floral display of Lotus and Waterlilies at Blue Lotus Water Garden in Melbourne’s Yarra Valley from December 26, 2019 to April 13, 2020.

Each year Geoff and Yvonne Cochrane open their 14 acre garden to thousands of visitors from Australia and beyond who come to admire the beauty of exotic Lotus flowers and magical Waterlilies.
