    The Makkah Clock Royal Tower hotel will have 76storeys be 577 metres high, and will feature a 40-metre clock that be more than five times larger thanBig Ben. The hotel, which is scheduled to open in

    September, will be the focal point of the Abraj Al Baitcomplex, part of the King Abdul Aziz EndowmentProject. Fairmont Hotels will manage the new hotel.The project should be complete by the end of 2008.

    The Royal Clock will announce daily prayers to the

    Muslim world and the Lunar Observation Center andIslamic Museum will serve to protect the heritage forfuture generations

    the Muslims where the Kabba lies

    earth, there is a hadith by prophetMuhammad that says that it was the first

    place created, the hadith says that the earth

    was completely immersed in water and then

    God caused the land that carry the Kabba to

    appear, this hadith is supported by science.

    Abraj Al Bait Towers-galement connu comme "La Mecque Clock Tower HtelRoyal est un complexe en construction La Mecque proximit de la GrandeMosque de l'Arabie saoudite et le travail est effectu par Saudi Binladin Group.Une fois termine, la tour deviendra le plus grand btiment en Arabie saoudite,

    et l'htel le plus haut et le plus grand du monde, avec une hauteur prvue de 601m (1972 pi).

    la fin, la structure aura construit la plus grande superficie au monde avec 1,5millions de m2 (16,15 millions de pieds carrs) de surface de plancher.

    En outre, le complexe aura un centre commercial et un parking pour plus de millevhicules. Un ensemble de tours rsidentielles abritera les rsidents permanentset les visiteurs peuvent accder soit hliports.

    L'horloge situe dans la tour principale, mesurant 43 43 mtres (141 x 141pieds), sera la plus importante dans le monde.

    Situ au coeur de la Mecque, l'horloge peut tre vu partir d'une distance de 19miles, un peu plus de 30 miles. Pour avoir une ide de la taille de celui-ci, on peutdire que c'est six fois plus grand que Big Ben Londres.

    Cette montre est clair par LED de 2 millions.
