3PRESENTATION

TheME2655Cisadigitalpaneldisplayorpanelmount.It ismainlyintendedforthemeasurement of signals and the conditioning of sensors in the context ofprocess controls. It can provide an analog output that can be used by anacquisitionsystemoraPLC,transmitinRS232andhasdigitalinputsandoutputs(TOR).TheME2655C isavailable inmultiplerangesadaptedtothedifferentelectricaland physical quantities (force, torque, weighing, pressure, displacement,inclination ...). 4OPERATINGPRINCIPLETheME2655Cconditionsthesensorsbyprovidingahighstabilitypowersupply.Then, itamplifiesthesignalscomingfromtheseandconvertsthemintodigital.The internalprocessor calculatesand scales in real time theexact valueof themeasuredphysicalparameteranddisplaysitonthedisplay.Dependingonthemeasurementmodeselected,thereal-timevalueorthepeakvalueobtained. In thismeasurementmode, theelectronicsacquire thedataathigh speed and realize a sliding average allowing to "capture" a fugitive signalwithgreatprecision.Thedevicetransmits itsdisplayviaRS232link inrealtimeoroperatoraction. Italsocontrolstworelayswhencrossingthresholdsconfiguredbytheoperator.AnanalogdigitalconverterallowstheME2655Ctoprovidetwoanalogoutputs±10Vand4-20mA,availableontherearpanel.Theentireconfigurationiscarriedoutinthedisplaybyscrollingthemenusoftheprogram.

10.3RELAYOUTPUT The 2655C incorporates two configurable alarms: high threshold and lowthreshold.
