With the creation of the in house newsletter let us all learn a little more about our colleagues at the design office and on site. As the year progresses, we shall keep our employees up to date on how well we have performed our goals.

We all work for a large and diverse organisation that brings together a wide variety of people, it is important that we share the excellent and innovative work being carried out by every department. As we all know that 2012 was not to be a year, however with a considerable amount of team work and commitment we have sustained the growth and maintained a top position in the market. Over the year, we have diversified our project sectors and strengthen our capabilities. It has been an absolute pleasure to have the new recruits. We have strengthened our Business Development Team which will help us growing the Business in India and

across the Border. Talks are on for project management services in Qatar, Sir Lanka and Bangladesh. We are also betting big with the opening of Foreign Direct investment (FDI) in retail backed with our International capabilities. Our Aim is to make the India office a Hub to offer series across South Asia , Middle East and Africa and we appreciate your continued support and understanding and let’s look forward working towards creating a fantastic 2013.Rajesh Srivastava

In the year 2012, Meinhardt India undertook several training and development program, which has given us space to show our expertise in a better way. We have different departments like MEP (Mechanical- HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Fighting), Civil and Structural, PHE and Highways. Trainings were conducted with a mix of technical and soft skills ensuring the same give our engineers and technical’s staff a path to grow individually and as a team. So far, after reviewing the feedbacks, we have analyzed that these session has helped the engineers to work on the projects in lesser time and with better quality. In 2012 calendar year we provided some informative technical training which includes FTTH/FTTP - Sterlite product, Solution & Services, Dialux - Software Training, ETABS Training, WTP- Water Treatment Plant, DREP - Digital Relays for Equipment Protection, Acoustic & Noise Control in Building etc. With this growth and efficiency, in the year 2013 we are planning to conduct some outdoor training so that the staff gets experience on how things work in real life and some more advanced technical and soft skill trainings are also on cards.

BIM-IPD teamMeinhardt India launches

The BIM concept envisages virtual construction of a facility prior to its actual physical construction, in order to reduce uncertainty, improve safety, work out problems, and simulate and analyze potential impacts. At Meinhardt India we took this unique initiative to drive business using this technology. In July 2012 we launched a fully functional inhouse BIM-IPD Team with the appointment of Krishan Kumar who is exceptionally working towards training to our AutoCAD Draughtsmen and upgrading their knowledge skills upto BIM-IPD Level.

Why have we adopted this Method?

• Our workflow, practices and procedures required few Upgradation and changes.

• Adoption BIM has brought cost efficiencies.

• Increased our profitability & visualization.

• Improved productivity due to easy retrieval of information.  

             • Increased coordination of

construction documents and speed of delivery.
