Who Should Attend?

At least 35 contact hours of formal project management education (this course provides 35 hours of project management education)

Ski l led project managers, project team members and those interested in project management best practices who have already attained 4,500 hours or more project management experience required to take the PMP® examination

Pre-RequisitesPMP® candidates must have a "Bachelors or first degree in any discipl ine" or equivalent, INCLUSIVE of the fol lowing:

At least 4,500 hours of professional experience in managing projects ,

AND

For those who could not fulfil the above academic requirement, candidates must have at least a minimum "high school certificate" INCLUSIVE of the fol lowing:

At least 7,500 hours of professional experience in managing projects ,

AND

At least 35 contact hours of formal project management education (this course provides 35 hours of project management education)

CertificationBy attending this course, the PMP® candidates wi l l have achieved the fol lowing:

35 Professional Development Units (PDUs)35 hours of formal training towards the PMP® certificationPMP® test fee is at USD505 ( for PMI member) , USD555 (non-member) payable to PMI

The PMP® credential is maintained through acquir ing 60 PDUs over a per iod of 3 years from the date of pass ing the examination

ExaminationThe PMP® examination is taken separately and can be booked through Prometric test centres

The examination consists of 200 multiple choice answers, and to be completed within 4 hours
