Aim of the Kick-Off Meeting:

The general aims of this project Workshop are: ¨ 1)TovisitthemeatanddairiesinthecityEskişehir/Turkeyandtoshowthe

workundersupervision;¨ 2) communicate information and share experiences through HACCP

procedures;¨ 3)TojointlydevelopanddeterminethecontentsoftheICTtrainingmodule

andthegeneralfunctionsofthewebsitewww.bestfood-haccp.comaspartoftheproject;

¨ 4)Todeterminethecontentsandnamesfor35courses/modules. In this context, 4 meat and 11 dairies are to be visiting. Within the scope of the project, the roles and responsibilities of all partners are identified and the project process defined. On the basis of the EU legislation, the following training modules are to be developed and adapted: ¨ Regulation (EC) No 178/2002 on laying down the general principles and

requirementsoffoodlaw,establishingtheEuropeanFoodSafetyAuthorityandlayingdownproceduresinmattersoffoodsafety.

¨ Regulation(EC)No183/2005onthehygieneandfeedstuffs¨ Regulation(EC)No853/2004layingdownspecifichygienerulesforfoodof

animalorigin.¨ Regulation(EC)No854/2004layingdownspecificrulesfortheorganisation

of official controls on products of animal origin intended for humanconsumption.

¨ Regulation(EC)No852/2004onthehygieneoffoodstuffs¨ Regulation (EC)No882/2004onofficial controlsperformed toensure the

verificationofcompliancewithfeedandfoodlaw,animalhealthandanimalwelfarerules.
