Summary

• From very humble beginnings in 2007, cricket in Hungary has developed very quickly

• There has been a rapid development particularly in:– junior and women’s cricket– obtaining access to cricketing facilities, including the substantial private

investment in the GB Oval– stabilising the governance of cricket– improving playing standards

• The next phase of development will see:– an even greater emphasis on grass roots development– further improving the playing and practice facilities– seeking a broader funding base– reaching out to the less advantaged members of our community

• The support of the ICC will be vital to us achieving our future objectives
