In contrast, most career centers have limited digital presences and are predominantly staffed by digital immigrants. This workshop will explore how career center staffs’ can hold on to the traditional values and theories of career counseling while adapting to the ever new frontiers of the digital age.

Career Development Online

A majority of today’s college students are defined as “digital natives,” persons for whom digital technologies

existed when they were born. In contrast, most career centers have limited digital presences and are

predominantly staffed by digital immigrants. This workshop will explore how career center staffs’ can hold
