Joshua Martin considers his company, Mountain Crane Service, the “easy button.” “Our customers push it and their needs are taken care of—questions and concerns are solved,” he says. That’s why it’s no surprise that since Martin joined Mountain Crane, the company has grown to an improbable size and scale. The operation is now the 28th largest crane company in the nation, with a fleet of nearly 100 cranes and revenue in excess of $50 million.Martin credits his co-workers for making his job worth it every day. “It’s not what I do, it is who I work with,” he says. “It is the team as a whole—all hard workers and unselfish. As a team we can accomplish anything.”He adds that as a professional, it’s also important to have a built-in work ethic and a passion for the work. “When you combine those with time building a network you have a golden formula,” he says.Martin, who is a lifelong Magna resident, spends his free time volunteer-ing with Cyprus High School’s athletic teams and the Magna preserva-tion and beautification group.
