Module #1 Description: OG FRM Data warehouseThe OG FRM is a data warehouse and reporting product add-on that is built on top of the ONEGATE product- A product that caters to health exchange that is maintained by states of Hawaii and Vermont as part of Obama care Act. The objective of this initiative is to design a warehouse and associated ETL’s to load the data warehouse periodically and using this data warehouse, derive a range of reports in any format that is requested (PDF, excel, XML etc.) that the states would need to submit to the federal government on periodic basis.

Roles & Responsibilities: Part of the functional phase and involved in analysis of the feasibility and scope of the project. One of the three member design team and played a vital role in designing one of the major

modules Part of development phase, which contained complex ETL logic, packages, stored procedures, and

functions Key contributor of unit testing phase which includes unit, integration and performance testing Good exposure towards analyzing time taken by each ETL process and minimizing the run time by

Module #2 Description: Data MigrationTo cope with Incremental Software development, legacy data has to undergo changes to adopt to new logical changes or legacy data should be imported into new tables in case of new entity creation. Small scale data manipulation process was done via SQL scripts and procedures whereas Siebel Enterprise Integration Manager was used for larger scale data migration.

operations. The ETL operations that consumed hours to load the data into the warehouse were completed successfully within an hour time. There was a drastic reduction in the time consumed for data loading

Performing functional testing and Unit testing. This involved confirming the data synchronization between the source and destination. This improved the data synchronization to 97%

Performing data analysis to study the patterns of the client data by creating data cubes.
