Meeker Citizens of the World

This is the group that will be going to New Zealand in February. This program is 31 years old. It started

by accident. Someone sent out an Email and someone in Ivercargill, New Zealand. Then, they decided to start sending people to eachother to learn about theother country.

A Bug Story

A Flashback

For the people who weren't here last year or didn't read the back of the year book this is a summary of what happened last year:

I am a bug, I live in a vending machine, and that vending machine is in a school called Meeker Middle

School.

Since I've been living in a vending machine I've hated extended weekends especially Summer break for

one reason and one reason only, they don't restock the vending machine for 12 weeks! Ever since then

I've been preparing for Summer to strike again and so far I've got nothing. In September I traveled to an

Assembly at Meeker called the Kiwi Assembly, when I arrived the band and choir were playing the New

Zealand national anthem and the United States national anthem. There were kids from New Zealand

sitting on chairs along with their hosts, the kids from Meeker were sitting on bleachers and at the end the band played one more song.

Meeker Music: Love The Process

The meeker music program is amazing the groups like Jazz Band, Choir, Glee Choir and more. Jazz band

is working on the sunny side of the street, Junior band is working on Cletic air and Dance. If you want to know anything else ask any proud band member bye.

Choir Updates for This Month By Emily Rowe

Viva Voce: They are working on the Star Spangled Banner for the Veterans day assembly and the

Veterans night concert and a song that is not to be revealed until the Veterans day CONCERT. Might want to go to see. The date is Thursday November 7th at 7:00 pm.

Glee: They are working on Sucker by the Jonas Brothers for winter concert I

Chorale:They are working on Circle Round the Moon as well as Inscription of Hope for winter concert II.

8 - The Chronicles of Bear

Part I:

Once there was a land where people didn't exist and instead animals could speak and work at jobs, but

animals did not advance in technology as much as humans and the result came to be that 2019

technologically was as advance as the 12th century. The world was divided into three kingdoms: The

Avian Kingdom, The Land Kingdom, and The Aquatic Kingdom. The story begins with a citizen of The

Land Kingdom named Bear who... was a bear, he was an average citi zen of the Kingdom. His life was as

normal as anyone's in the kingdom until one snowy day. Bear jumped out of his bed when he heard one

of the loudest noise he had ever heard. His eyes shot open to see a huge boulder 2 inches above his face.

Bear screamed as loud as he could, he tried to slowly move out to the side and was successful.

Once Bear was free he opened the door and sprinted out into the snow. He soon found five catapults waiting outside.

Once, there was a boy, whose name was Billy, he was walking in the woods, on his way to prom,

because, no one want's there mom to drop them off at prom, let alone their first one. He was half way

there when, he saw something, as he came closer, he realized, it was his life -long friend Susie. "Hello

Susie!" he shouted. She turned back, and upon seeing him, she ran. He followed her down the trial, but

when he reached the bend, she was gone. He thought she must have taken a different trial. When he

arrived at the dance, he saw her again, but then he remembered, she died three years ago, in a fatal car

crash, as she crumbled into a pile of blood, and mush, bringing him down with her, and as he sunk, he tried to scream, but his face was already gone...
