4477 Medical receptionist course RACGP NSW&ACT RACGP NSW&ACT’s medical receptionist course recognises the role that receptionists play in improving the patient journey and in promoting the practice. The course covers a range of topics for new and current non‑medical practice staff to increase staff skills and confidence levels, while working in the practice. Presenters Ms Angela Mason-Lynch is a past National President and current NSW President for the Australian Association of Practice Managers and a registered nurse. She has been in the healthcare industry for over 20 years and holds a Diploma in Practice Management, a certificate in Workplace Training and is the accreditation surveyor for AGPAL. Dr Alan Fahey is a Principal Lecturer at the College of Hypnosis. Dr Nathan Pinskier is co‑owner of a group of general practices and has a long standing involvement in primary healthcare, eHealth, information technology, accreditation and practice management, representing RACGP on the DHS Medicare stakeholder consultative group for over 14 years. Dr Charlotte Hespe is Head of General Practice / Primary care Research for University of Notre Dame, Australia (Sydney). She also works as a GP principle and Supervisor in an 18 Doctor, Patient Centred Family Medical Practice in Glebe, Sydney.
