MEDIASPACE @ UNIVERSITY OF PADOVA
Mediaspace is a multimedia site developed by Digital Learning and Multimedia Office of the University of Padova on Kaltura video platform.
In this platform students, teachers and staff of the University can upload and publish multimedia files, share contents and create collaboration networks.

In less than 2 years more than 4,000 videos, podcasts, photos and presentations were uploaded. Multimedia contents on site have different formats and purposes. For example:● Lecture capture, tutorials, course presentations and
experiments, students assignments for teaching. ● Promotional video, teasers, animations and documentaries,
events and live streaming for communication. ● Tutorials and screencasts for internal communication.● Project outcomes, seminars, conferences and multimedia
archive for research.
Digital learning and multimedia office supports all Unipd community who want to create multimedia with different activities of counseling, training, lending materials, technical support and multimedia production.

Users have the possibility to create thematic channels in which they can organize media in playlists and with different levels of privacy. A channel can be public, limited to the Unipd community or to chosen collaborators. Over 200 channels were created for research projects, conferences, contests, photo events, festivals, collections.
