4. A fee of 130 is due when a thesis is submitted after the

period allowed for submission has lapsed.

5. Those members of University staff in receipt of a tuition

fee scholarship pay a fee of 650 on submission or re-submission for the degree.

6. Research students whose Full-time attendance and feepayment began after the rst term of their rst year paythe Full-time tuition fee due up to the end of the period ofsupervision recommended by their supervisor.

7. Research students who are certied by the Head ofSchool or Research Institute as having completedpractical work and as not requiring further supervisionor departmental facilities may matriculate for use of the

library as non-supervised students at a fee of 240.

8. Examinations-only students pay the registration fee of100.

9. The General Council fee is 60.

Fees for Masters andDiploma programmes

1. If you register for a Masters and complete a Masters, youwill be charged the listed Masters fee.

2. If you register for a Diploma and complete a Diploma, youwill be charged the listed Diploma fee.

3. If you register for a Masters but decide that you want to doa Diploma instead, then youll be charged for a Diploma.However this decision needs to be made within 13 weeks

of registering. This is aligned with the Universitys refund

policy which states that at 13 weeks no refund is possiblefor withdrawing. If the decision to switch from a Mastersto a Diploma is made after 13 weeks then you will becharged the full Masters fee.

4. If you register for a Diploma but decide to do a Masters,youll be charged for a Masters, whether you obtain a

Diploma or a Masters at the end of the programme.

8. Late fees are charged at 3% with a minimum charge of 5.Late fees will not be charged to sponsors.

9. A charge of 20 will be made in cases of returned

cheques, unpaid direct debits and cancelled mandates.
