Paper I

General Intelligence & Reasoning: In this section questions are based on verbal and non- verbal type. This component may include questions on analogies, similarities and differences, space visualization, spatial orientation, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning, and figural classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, statement conclusion, syllogistic reasoning etc. The topics are, Semantic Analogy, Symbolic/Number Analogy, Figural Analogy, Semantic Classification, Symbolic/Number, Classification, Figural Classification, Semantic Series,Number Series, Figural Series, Problem Solving, Word Building, Coding & de-coding, Numerical Operations, symbolic, Operations, Trends, Space Orientation, Space Visualization, Venn Diagrams, Drawing inferences, Punched hole/pattern-folding & un-folding, Figural Pattern- folding and completion, Indexing Address matching, Date & city matching Classification of centre codes/roll numbers, Small & Capital letters/numberscoding, decoding and classification Embedded Figures, Critical thinking, Emotional Intelligence, Social Intelligence, Other sub topics if any.

General Awareness:   In this section questions are based on general awareness of the environment around the society. Knowledge of current events and on such matters of every day observations and experiences. Questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity, Indian Constitution, scientific Research etc.

Quantitative Aptitude: computation of whole numbers, decimals, fractions and relationships between numbers, Percentage, Ratio and Proportion, Square roots, Averages, Interest, Profit & Loss, Discount, Partnership Business, Mixture and Allegation, Time and distance, Time & work, Basic algebraic identities of School Algebra and Elementary surds, Graphs of Linear Equations, Triangle and its various kinds of centres, Congruence and similarity of triangles, Circle and its chords, tangents, angles subtended by chords of a circle, common tangents to two or more circles, Triangle , Quadrilaterals, Regular Polygons, Circle, Right Prism, Right Circular Cone, Right Circular Cylinder, Sphere, Hemispheres, Rectangular Parallelepiped, Regular Right Pyramid with triangular or square base, Trigonometric ratio, Degree and Radian Measures, Standard Identities, Complementary angles, Heights and Distances, Histogram, Frequency polygon, Bar diagram & Pie chart.

English Comprehension: Candidates‟ ability to understand correct English, his basic comprehension and writing ability, etc. would be tested.

SBI Clerk Syllabus 2015:

IBPS Syllabus For Clerk Exam 2015 -2016 in details

Selection committee wants are going to have a post of Clerk in bank must have basic knowledge of English Language which is a International common language. it covers vocabulary means homonyms, synonyms, antonyms, sentence completion, word formation and the topic comprehension means deriving conclusion, theme detection, passage completion and the topic Rearrangement of passage, spelling, sentence and the topic grammar means set of rules active passive voice, indirect direct speech and the topic General usage means phrases and idioms.

3. IBPS Clerk Numerical Ability Syllabus :- IBPS Clerk Syllabus for Numerical ability OR Quantitative Aptitude paper will have 5 Multiple Choice Answers The inquiry in this choice may be focused around two subjects like as Arithmetic and Data Interpretation. Information (Data) Interpretation means visual diagrams, pie outlines, line charts and classification. Number-crunching (Arithmetic) means roots, average, ratio, time & work, time & separation, rate, benefit & loss, mixture, STOCKS  & shares, partnership, clocks, volume & surface area, height & distances, logarithms, permutation & combination, simple & compound interest, in equations & equations and probability. General Awareness :Questions are designed to test the candidate’s general awareness of the environment around him and its application to society. Questions are also designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of an educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to History, Culture Geography, Economic Scene, General policy and scientific research.

Note 1 :For VH candidates of 40% and above visual disability and opting for scribes there will be no component of Maps / Graphs / Diagrams / Statistical Data in the General Intelligence & Reasoning / Quantitative Aptitude.

B. Skill Test for Data Entry Operator:Data Entry Speed of 8,000 (eight thousand) Key Depressions per hour on Computer.

The ‘Speed of 8000 key depressions per hour on Computer’ will be adjudged on the basis of the correct entry of words / key depressions as per the given passage and the duration of the said test will be 15 (Fifteen) minutes and printed matter in English containing about 2000 – 2200 strokes / key-depressions would be given to each candidate who would enter the same in the Computer.

The “Data Entry Speed” Skill Test would be of qualifying nature. Candidates allowed to take SSC DEO test, will have to qualify the test at the prescribed speed on Computer, to be provided by the Staff Selection Commission or the agency authorized by the Staff Selection Commission to conduct such skill test at the Centre / venue so notified.

Only those candidates who secure at least the minimum qualify marks in the written examination, as may be fixed by the Staff Selection Commission at its discretion, fix qualifying marks in each component of the written examination.

Provided that candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, OBC, ExS and PH may be called for the Skill Test by the Staff Selection Commission by applying relaxed standards if the Staff Selection Commission is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates of these categories are not likely to be available for the skill test on the basis of qualifying criteria for general category candidates in order to fill up the vacancies reserved for these categories ( i.e SC, ST, PH, ExS and OBC )).

Only such candidates who qualify in the SSC Skill Test at a speed of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour will be eligible for being recommended for appointment as per their position in the merit list.

None of the candidates including PH candidates who qualify in the written part of the SSC Data Entry Operator examination 2015 will be exempted from the Skill Test as passing of the skill test is a precondition and one of the essential qualifications for appointment to the SSC post of Data Entry Operator.

C. Typing Test for LDCs :

Typing Test will be conducted for those candidates who qualify in the SSC DEO Written Examination. Such Typing Test will be conducted in English or Hindi and candidates while applying for the SSC DEO Examination, will have to indicate his / her choice / option for Skill Test Medium in the SSC DEO Application Form.

Typing Test will be of qualifying in nature. It will be administered on the Computer, to be provided by the Staff Selection Commission or any agency authorized by the Staff Selection Commission. Candidates opting for English medium should have typing speed of 35 words per minute and those opting for Hindi medium should have typing speed of 30 words per minute.

The speed will be adjudged on the accuracy of typing on the Computer of a given text passage in 10 minutes. Visually Handicapped candidates (with 40% disability and above ) will be allowed 30 minutes. (Whether to include cerebral palsy or not) Passage Dictators will be provided to VH

candidates by the Staff Selection Commission for the Typewriting test. The Passage Dictators will read out the passage to the VH candidates within the allotted time period.

Note I :35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m. corresponds to 10500 key depressions per hour / 9000 key depressions per hour respectively.

Note II :OH candidate who claims to be permanently unfit to take the typewriting test because of a physical disability may, with the prior approval of the Staff Selection Commission, be exempted from the requirement of appearing and qualifying at such test, provided such a candidate submits a Certificate in the prescribed format to the Staff Selection Commission from the competent Medical Authority, i.e., the Civil Surgeon declaring him / her to be permanently unfit for the Typewriting Test because of a physical disability.

Note III :If an OH candidate who submits a Medical Certificate from the Medical Board attached to VRC for PH persons or from the Medical Board attached to Special Employment Exchange for PH persons, his / her claim for exemption from Typewriting Test would be accepted. However, if, she / he submits Medical Certificate from Civil / Orthopaedic Surgeon, his / her case would be referred to a Medical Board in a Government Hospital or Medical Board attached to VRC / Special Employment Exchange for PH persons for clearance.

OH Candidates seeking exemption from Typing test on medical ground must substantiate their claim by furnishing the relevant Medical Certificate in the prescribed format as published in this notice ( Annexure IX ) at the time of Typing Test. Otherwise their claim for seeking exemption from Typing Test will not be entertained by the Staff Selection Commission.

Note IV :If any candidate does not opt for any medium for typing, his option will be deemed to be for English medium.

Note V :Only those candidates who secure at least the minimum qualifying marks in the written examination, as may be fixed by the Staff Selection Commission at its discretion, will be called for Typing Test. The Staff Selection Commission may also, at its discretion, fix qualifying the minimum qualifying marks in each component of the written examination.

Stenographers Grade 'C' and 'D' Exam, 2015SSC conducts a combined all-India open examination for selection to the posts of Stenographer Grade 'C' and Grade 'D'.

Eligibility

You should have passed standard 12th from recognized board.

Age Limit: 18 to 27 years as on 1 August of the year of examination. Age relaxation exists for categories.

Exam Pattern

SSC Stenographer exam consists of written objective type paper followed by Skill Test in Stenography at 100 w.p.m. and 80 w.p.m for Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and Grade ‘D’, respectively.

The written examination consists of one objective type paper with three parts.

I. General Intelligence & Reasoning (50 questions) II. General Awareness (50 questions)

III. English Language and Comprehension (100 questions)

Total marks of the paper are 200. The duration of the exam is 2 hours. There is negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. The questions except in Part III are set both in English & Hindi.

Syllabus :

General Intelligence & Reasoning

It includes questions of both verbal and nonverbal type. The test includes questions on analogies, similarities and differences, space visualization, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discriminating observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series etc.

The test also includes questions designed to test your abilities to deal with abstract ideas and symbols and their relationship, arithmetical computation and other analytical functions.

General Awareness

Questions are designed to test the your ability of general awareness of the environment around you and its application to society.

The test also includes questions relating to India and its neighbouring countries especially pertaining to Sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic scene, General Polity including Indian Constitution, and Scientific Research, etc. These questions are such that you do not require a special study of any discipline.

English Language & Comprehension

In addition to the testing of your understanding of the English Language, its vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms and its correct usage, etc. your writing ability is also tested.

Skill Test In Stenography

Those who obtain the qualifying marks in the Written Examination are only be called for the Skill Test. 

The Skill Test is of Qualifying Nature only. 

You will be given one dictation for 10 minutes in English / Hindi at the speed of 100 w.p.m. for the post of Stenographer Grade "C‟ and 80 w.p.m. for the post of Stenographer Grade "D‟. The matter will have to be transcribed on computer only.

SSC CAPF   CONSTABLE   EXAM PATTERN 2015

Written exam will be held after Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) rounds.

Exam will be objective type questions of one paper only. Total questions: 100 Total marks: 100 Time duration: 2 hours 1/4th or 0.25 marks are deducted for every wrong answer.

General Intelligence & Reasoning:Analytical aptitude and ability to observe and distinguish patterns will be tested through questions principally of non-verbal type. This component may include questions on analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning and figural classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, etc.

General Knowledge and General Awareness:Questions in this component will be aimed at testing the candidate’s general awareness of the environment around him. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of every day observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person. SSC Multi Tasking ( Non Technical ) Staff – MTS Exam 2015

Syllabus

Paper I : Questions on ‘General Intelligence and Reasoning’ will be non – verbal considering the functions attached to the post. Questions on Numerical Aptitude and General English will be simple, of a level that an average matriculate will be in a position to answer comfortably. Questions on General Awareness will be also of similar standard.

General Intelligence : It would include questions of non – verbal type. The SSC MTS 2015 test will include questions on similarities and differences, space visualization, problem solving, analysis, judgement, decision making, visual memory, discriminating observation, relationship concepts, figure classification, arithmetical number series, non – verbal series etc. The test will also include questions designed to test the candidate’s abilities to deal with abstract ideas and symbols and their relationship, arithmetical computation and other analytical functions.

English Language : Candidates’ understanding of the Basics of English Language, its vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms and its correct usage, etc. his / her writing ability would be tested.

Numerical Aptitude : This paper will include questions on problems relating to Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and relationship between Numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, use of Tables and Graphs, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work, etc. General Awareness : Questions will be designed to test the ability of the candidate’s general awareness of the environment around him and its application to society. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighbouring countries especially pertaining to Sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic scene, General Polity including Indian Constitution, and Scientific Research etc. These questions will be such that they do not require a special study of any discipline.

Note : For VH candidates of 40% and above visual disability and opting for scribe there will be no component of Maps / Graphs / Diagrams / Statistical Data in the General Intelligence & Reasoning / General Awareness Paper.

Paper II : The paper will be set in English and Hindi and to extent possible in other language mentioned in the 8th schedule of the constitution as given in annexure x, to test basic language skills commensurate with the educational qualification prescribed for the post. Candidates will

be required to write one short essay / letter in English or any language included in the 8th schedule of constitution.

9. General Instructions to be complied by the candidates in the SSC MTS 2015 Exam written examination1.. Candidates must write the papers / indicate the answers in their own hand.2. In the question papers, wherever necessary, the Metric systems of weights and

measures only will be used.3. Candidates are not permitted to use calculators and other electronic gadgets except as

specified in the Notice. They should not, therefore, bring the same inside the SSC Examination Premises / Venue.

4. If any candidate is found to possess mobile phones or any other means of wireless communication in the working or switched off mode, his / her candidature shall be cancelled forthwith.
