Page 2: Media storyboard

This is what our production name will be, we want to keep the background black and have the text red and white as it fits best in with our genre. The shot is going to last 2 seconds and will be faded in and out.

Shot 2 is an over the shoulder shot of jack looking at a Facebook event describing the camping party. The transition into this shot is a fade and then a jump cut out- shot lasts 2 seconds.

Medium two shot of Emily standing behind Jack whilst he’s looking at the Facebook event. The music is cheery and upbeat- shot last 1-2 seconds. Screen cuts black in sync with the music.

Long panning shot of the car driving through the countryside music is upbeat and happy to represent them all having a good time- shot lasts 3 seconds.

This shot is showing jacks phone vibrating with his girlfriends name on it. Music continues but remains quiet- shot last 2 seconds.

Music cuts as someone who is hiding in the back cancels the call, the audience is only able to see a hand so they are unaware of the characters identity- shot lasts 1½ seconds.

Medium shot of Jack fumbling around for his phone, his expression is confused as he thought he heard it calling- shot lasts 1 ½ seconds.

Low angled- medium long shot of jack arriving at the camp site and greeting his girlfriend, natural music playing in the background- shot last 2 seconds.

Intertitle- black background with the word ‘The’ in white and the word ‘Curse’ in red the font will be scratchy and music will change to a more airy soundtrack- shot last 1½ seconds.

Long shot of Jack and Amy hugging. Emily storms out of the car and slams the door, Jack looks at her confused and angry- shot last 2 seconds.

Cuts to a long shot of Emily running away from them upset, music continues- shot lasts 2 seconds.

Intertitle between which say ‘Will Reform Itself’ it will keep with the same theme of red, white and black.It then fades to a medium- close-up shot of Emily crouched down crying and looking vulnerable, music continues- shot lasts 1 ½ seconds.

Intertitle- ‘Into The Lonely’ some colour scheme with the transition of a fade in and out of the shot- lasts 2 seconds.

Two flash shots of the other two girls looking lonely and vulnerable to create a possible red herring- 1 second for each shot.

Fade to a medium shot of Emily looking up with a sinister smile on her face, music becomes more chilling- shot last 1 ½ seconds.

Cut to a long over the shoulder shot of the groups shadows looking at Emily sat on the ground. Music continues- shot lasts 2 seconds.

Low angled shot of Emily with her hair pushed onto her face looking creepy, the low angled shows that she is superior to the others- she begins making indescribable sounds- shot lasts 2 seconds.

Cuts to a P.O.V shot of Tom looking at Emily as she charges towards the camera and pushes him with a inhumanly force making the shot become black, the music cuts to silence- shot last 2-3 seconds.

Intertitle- ‘Isolated In The Forest’ same colour scheme, with the sound of a low beat in sync with the words, there is a fade in and out of the shot- shot lasts 2 seconds.

Cuts to a long shot of the group sat around the campfire. No dialogue, just the heavy airy music in the background- shot last 1 ½ seconds.

Jump cut to a medium two shot of Amy and Jack sat by the fire looking shocked, Jack says “I can’t believe this is happening to us” shot lasts 3/4 seconds.

Cuts to a zoom shot of Jack and Tom fighting and Jack shouting “You better hope she’s alright!” Dramatic music build as Jack pushes him away- shot lasts 3 seconds.

Tracking shot of Jack walking away from the scene. The music turns back to the chimey soundtrack- shot last 1 ½ seconds.

Jump cuts to medium shot of Tom walking away from Lauren as he’s upset about his friend. Background music continues- shot lasts 1 ½ seconds.

This is a medium shot of Lauren sat there confused before saying “Tom where are you going?” showing that she’s frightened to be by herself. Music continues- shot lasts 4 seconds.

This shot is medium long shot of Lauren looking around confused as she heard some strange noises, The transition in this shot is a zoom into her face looking frightened. Background music continues- shot last 2 seconds.

This is a P.O.V shot of Lauren searching for the torch, she panic when the torch only flickers on and off, this is shown by heavy breathing- shot lasts 1 ½ seconds.

Cuts to a medium shot of Lauren banging the torch frantically in hopes to get it to work, her heavy breathing continues- shot lasts 2-3 seconds.

Quick cut to a medium close-up of Emily stood face to face with Lauren, her expressions are psychotic and sinister and all you are able to hear is a loud scream from Lauren before the screen cuts black- shot lasts 3 seconds.

Screen cuts black as Lauren tries to get the torch working, the audience is unable to see anything and can only hear the sound of Lauren’s breathing, suddenly the torch flickers on- shot lasts 2 seconds.

Close-up of torch flickering on the floor, surrounded by a pool of blood. Background music starts back up- shot lasts 1 ½ seconds.

Quick cut to a medium close up of Tom screaming, “What do you want from me?” The camera is shaking to add to the effect before he turns around to look at something- shot last 2 ½ seconds.

Next is a P.O.V shot of Tom looking at the woods- shot lasts 1 second.

Another quick cut to a tracking shot of Tom being chased by something unknown, he’s shouting “help”- shot lasts 2 seconds.

Fade in and out of this intertitle, keeping the same colour scheme of red, white and Black, low beat in sync with the words- shot lasts 1 ½ seconds.

Jump cut to a medium long shot of Jack and Amy stood by the side of a lake, looking afraid of something, Low dramatic music in background- shot lasts 1 ½ seconds.

This is a close-up shot of Jack and Amy holding hands, this is to show that they find security with each other and feel safe with one another, high intensity music- shot lasts 1 ½ seconds.

Long shot of Emily crawling out of the lake, slowing creeping behind Jack and Amy- shot lasts 2 seconds. Music continues.

Jump cut to a close-up of Emily, with her hair dripping and head twisted to the side, with a creepy smile- shot lasts 1 second. Music intensifies. The shot cuts black for 1 second and the music cuts to silence.

The camera zooms out and cuts to a long shot of Emily hunched over, looking directly then camera, before she lets out a low distorted scream. Heartbeat sound in the background- shot lasts 1 ½ seconds.

Fades out to the film titles name ‘Deprived’ The font has got a scratchy effect over it. Dramatic beat in sync with film title- shot lasts 1 ½ seconds.

Flash shot of Emily’s face which has been distorted with the sound effect of a low scream.Then a fade in to a coming soon title and the date ‘6.6.13’ both last 1 second each.

Final shot is of the credits showing the actors/actresses and producer/directors names on it. Chilling music continues- shot lasts 3 seconds.
