RainActors and crewAll equipment - Must be protected from rain as rain can damage electrical items. The equipment we are using such as the cameras, mics etc are very expensive overall and replacing them would be costly With a few shots being filmed outside in the open, we already have waterproof clothing to put over the camera equipment to ensure it remains dry

MODERATEFilm in locations where there is shelter readily available in case the rain is very heavy. Alternatively if it starts to rain and we are filming the relationship montage which is meant to be sunny, we will have to reschedule our filming and film on another day

LightingActors and crewWhen filming the sequence in the Tithe Barn using the mirrors, there will be one light being used to create the dark atmosphere. The light can become very hot and this is a risk in terms of causing a fire or even burning someone if accidentally touchedWe will ensure that the light is never at its full brightness for a prolonged period of time. We will make sure that when we are reviewing footage on the camera or taking a break, the light is switched off from both the switch and at the socket

HIGH Extra precautions can be put in place. For example we will need to clear all items away from the light whether it be food, clothing etc. Items that come into contact with light heat are at risk of catching fire and therefore we must keep these items at a safe distance

The knife in the murder sequence Actors and crewClothing and potentially film equipment. When dropping the knife to put it in reverse, it could cut clothing or even chip cameras and tripodsAs the audience can only see the closeup on knife, we will have the actor stood as far back as possible to ensure the knife does not injure anyone. The same is applied to the camera team and director who must be stood at a safe distance

HIGHMedical first aid bags will be on set with us at all times in case of any injury. The use of bandages and antibacterial gel will be very important if the knife does cut anyone. If the injury is severe, we will have contact numbers at the ready on our mobile phones and on this risk assessment.

Blood and tripping up

Actors and crewThe blood we will use to splatter on the walls could potentially be a trip hazard. By someone slipping over, this in turn could cause equipment to fall and there is a chance the equipment could be damagedWhen the blood has been spattered, we will film this sequence and immediately after, clear it up using kitchen roll and towels.

MODERATEMake sure that mops are brought to the filming to clear up the blood

Filming at nightActors and crewSome of the sequences within the film are going to be filmed at night and therefore visibility will low. This is potentially dangerous and the actors/crew could injure themselves by falling over. They could even walk into equipment and cause the cameras to fall over due to exposed wires.We have torches in place as the main lights will be switched off during filming and so the torches will be useful when manoeuvring around the room. The single light being used will also help lighten the rooms.

MODERATE After filming has been completed, we will turn the lights back on to allow us to move objects if we need to reshoot some of the sequences

Filming by the riverActors and crewWe intend to have a shot of the couple by the river during the males flashback to when he was happy. There is a chance of property being damaged due to water or even if a crew member drops a piece of equipment in the river.Making sure everyone stands at a safe distance from the river including the actors. We will bring spare change of clothing in the unlikely event of someone falling into the river however there is still a chance that this could happen
