    EDINBURGH GIN STARTED PRODUCING

    SMALL BATCH GIN IN 2010.

Edinburgh Gin was first made at Broxburn Distillers, though soon began

distilling at 1A Rutland Place, in the shadow of Edinburgh Castle in Edinburgh’s

    West End.

In 2016 Edinburgh Gin opened a second distillery in the historic gin port of

Leith. Edinburgh Gin transformed part of the former Crawfords biscuit factory

into a new distillery, in response to the strong international growth of gin.

This expansion will more than quadruple production capacity, with the new

distillery producing enough spirit to make over 2.5million G&T’s each year.

There is also opportunity to expand further by adding another still.

A MAJOR INTERNATIONAL SPIRITS REVIVAL IS TAKING PLACE, WITH GIN

    SITTING PROUDLY AT THE CENTRE.

While Edinburgh continues to consume more gin per head of population than

any other city in the UK, the expansion is also fuelled by rocketing global

    demand for the Scottish spirit.

Edinburgh Gin distributes all over the world, appearing in stores and bars

across Europe, North America, Asia and New Zealand.

The UK is already the biggest gin exporter in the world. A total of 70% of

gin is made in Scotland – an industry worth £1.76 billion to the UK economy.

Edinburgh Gin was also named Scotland’s fastest growing gin brand by

    Nielsen Scantrack in 2015.
