Facilities upgraded to international standards Facilities upgraded to international standards now allow for competitions in the three disciplines

- Speed, Bouldering, Lead - to be held in a single location. Thus, it is now possible to host the

Olympic Combined competitions, the new format adopted by the International Olympic

Committee for the Tokyo Olympic Games, in these facilities.

15 meter high speed wall in accordance with international standards

The only 15 meters IFSC-certified International Competition Wall for international competitions

in Eastern North America is built by Entre-Prises, thus securing approved records. Perfect

Descent Climbing System self-belays, IFSC's official supplier, are in place to ensure the safety of

climbers.

Bouldering wall in accordance with international standards

● 4.5 meters tall and an approximate climbing area of 300 m2

● Training and competition area free of edges;

● Different profiles allow the initiation on the vertical parts and the progression thanks to

the more complex profiles in overhangs;

● Thanks to the choice of design and MozaiK technology from Entre-Prises, a lot of space

is given for route-setting;

Lead climbing wall in accordance with international standards

All equipment complies with local, national and international standards for competitions at all

levels.

Mezzanine space for spectators

The top of the boulder has a beautiful space for reception, rest and observation in conjunction

with the mezzanine.

Training space Monkey Space from Entre-Prises

Monkey Space is an innovative cubic and self-sustained training structure that allows beginners

and experienced climbers to progress by making use of playful movement. It is a modular

training space that allows the climber to decide on the placement of the macros and equipment

located on the walls or on the ceiling. The Monkey Space will be available to athletes as part of

their warmup in the isolation area.

Webcasting

Webcasting is more than just a live broadcast. It is above all to make viewers discover climbing as a new Olympic sport, to show the talent of young athletes and especially to make climbing accessible to all, all over the planet.

The goal is to broadcast two channels at all times that will cover all events, all age groups and all disciplines. There are nearly 60 hours of live broadcast of athletes' performances.

The renowned TVGO, a Montreal-based sports company, has been selected to offer an unmatched quality webcast solution.

Sustainable event

The event is part of a certification process as a sustainable event (9700-253). In

collaboration with the Conseil québécois des Événements Écoresponsables and the Éco-

quartier de Mercier-Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, a sustainable management plan is in place

to reach level two of the BNQ standard.

The following basic principles are adopted:

1. Reduction at the source, reuse, recover and recycle.

2. Working with local suppliers and partners who have a sustainable management

policy in place.

3. Ensuring the training of the resources involved, educate the customer,

communicate the gains and spread the successes.

4. Optimize the sport, social and community legacy of the event and its long-term

sustainability with Accès escalade Montréal.

Here are some of the initiatives put in place that reduce the ecological footprint.

● Training and education of the participants, teams, volunteers and stakeholders

of the event through various communication initiatives.

● Calculation and compensation of greenhouse gases (GHG) produced by

participants and spectators during their transport to destination.

● Installation of a waste sorting bins on site.

● No plastic water bottles sold on site.

● Maximum reduction in the production of all printed material.
