Winter Festival – La Farge Jan. 10, 2015 The list of events at La Farge’s Winter Festival goes on and on and is sure to please every type of visitor. Bring the whole family to take part in fun winter activities like ice skating, sledding, skiing, archery, snow sculpture slide, ice cave hikes, birds of prey presentation, face painting, horse-drawn bobsled rides, snowshoe exhibit, Tri-State Malamute Club sled dog race, weight pull and mutt race. SNOWSHOE EVENTS Snowshoeing at Riveredge Nature Center – Newburg Dec. 2014 – March 2015 Bundle up, because there’s 10 miles of hiking trails and six miles of tracked cross-country ski trails to explore at the Riveredge Nature Center.
