NOTICESubject:-Civil Services (Main) Examination-2013 - communication of thefindings of the M edical Examination regarding.

The candidates whose names are mentioned in the Annexure-I havebeen declared unfit for all services/for Police Services/for Railwaysservice/Technical Service/ for IRTS/ for IRTS RPF by the medical board atvarious Hospitals on account of the reason(s) mentioned against their names.These candidates are informed that as per the provisions of CSE Rules, if theyare not satisfied w ith the findings of the m edical board, they can make an appealagainst the findings before this Departmen t in the format as given at Annexure-II. The following points may kindly be noted w hile m aking appeal:-

a. The appeal should be preferred w ithin 21 d ays from the date of this noticefailing which it will be presumed that the candidate(s) is/are notinterested in filing the appeal. Appeal received after 21 days of issue ofthis notice will not be con sidered. However, the candidates are advisedto file the appeal, if they so desire, as early as possible so that theirre-medical examination may be held at an early date and serviceallocation could be completed prior to the commencement ofFoundation Course w.e.f 1.9.2014.

b. The appeal should be accompanied by a fee of Rs.100/-. The fee shouldbe paid by demand draft in favor of PAO, department of PersonnelTraining drawn on a bank in Delhi/New Delhi. The fee is refundable ifyou are not found fit by the Appellate Medical Board. Along with theappeal, a Medical Certificate in the prescribed Proforma (Annexure-II)from a specialist in support of your claim that there is an error in thejudgment of the findings of the medical Board and that you are fit, beenclosed.

c. It is made clear that the Appellate Medical Board would conduct themedical examination only if your appeal has been received in the officewithin the stipulated time.

d. The medical examination by the Appellate Medical Board will be at yourown cost. There is to say if any amount is to be paid to the Hospital inconnection with your medical examination, the same shall be paid by youdirect to the Hospital.

e. Please note that the findings of the Appellate Medical Board will be final.3. In case, a candidate agrees with findings of Central Standing MedicalBoard (CSMB) and he/she does not wish to appeal against the findings ofCSMB, he/she may intimate the same also in writing immediately to thisDepartment.4. Besides of the above, some candidates have been declared TemporaryUnfit due to the reason mentioned against their names These candidates arerequested to submit a fitness certificate within 6 months from the date of theirmedical examination. If, any candidate is declared fit by a Doctor, he maysubmit a fitness certificate to this Department by registered post/speed post forfurther necessary action. A scan copy of fitness certificate may be sent throughe-mail in advance so that the Hospital may be requested to assign a date formedical examination.4. ll communication should be addressed to the undersigned by the nameby Registered/Speed Post/E-mail indicating the latest address of the candidateand Roll number assigned to him/her by UPSC. For updates on MedicalExamination Results, Service Allocation, and any kind of verification,candidates are advised to visit this Department's website http://persmin/gov.in.
