There is no restriction on using any kind of mechani cal i nstru ments except for the condition that it should not use any kind of Electrical Energy. E ven you can use household things fo r example m atch-sticks, Stationary Items, Ice cream stick or any kind o f  j un k . After designing th e setup first o f all y ou define different region or a line p reci sely for different logic levels for your setup, approaching w hich your m echanical setup w il l acquire the logi c levels accor din gly. W hat I s M ech A Boolean-

One l ine descr ip t ion of M ech A Boolean, as nam e suggests

M echanical Im plem entat ion o f log ic gates

M ech A Boolean is a very in tere st ing com pet i t ion of im plem ent ing log ic gates throu gh

for the condi t ion that i t should no t use any k ind of Elect r ical Energy. Even you can u se

Constraint

I t is m ust th at you use only stat ic or k ine t ic energy, as stat ed abo ve no use of elect r ical

or m agnet ic energy is a llow ed.

Rules Of The Com pe ti t ion

The prob lem sta tement w i ll be given to you one w eek befo re the da te o f com pet i t i on .

The prob lem s tatem ent w i l l con ta in a Boolean expression w hich you have to imp lement

w i th you r m echanica l gates For example The problem Statem ent m ay be as fo l low s

F = A(Ē+C)+CB

The Outp ut should be accurate accord ing to t he dec larat ion o f l ine or reg ion of log ic

levels i .e. 1 or 0.

Not even the f ina l but in t erm ediate ou tpu t should a lso be accurate and prec ised

accord ing to the dec larat ion of l ine o r reg ion o f log ic leve ls.

If tw o cont estant s have the accurate resul ts wi th tw o d i f ferent m echanical me ans, th e

bet t er m odel w i ll be the o ne w i th m ore pr ecision, less com plex ity and less w eight .

The input act ion should be uniqu e for on e setup and could not b e changed af terw ard.

The input act ion w i l l consist o f on ly sing le m ot ion, no in term ediate m odi f icat ion is

As you can see in th e above f igure, tw o log ic lines or say regions are def ined w hen w e pu l l one
