The whole Sivapuranam is a praise of Siva and an out pouring of love and bakti and a description of His Natureand Functions. The hymn is not about Manikavasagar.

I will adore His Feet by His Grace. All along there is his personal testimony of his taints that can only be washed off by the Grace of Lord Siva.

"I have repeatedly taken countless births as various non-moving things such as rocks, grass, small plants, tress, etc. and various moving things such as worms, various animals, birds, snakes, humans, ghosts, gaNas, terrible demons (rakshasas), sages, devas, etc. O lord, I am tired of all this endless cycle".

"en perumaan" is vocative. The word 'inRu' must be put after this phrase, and 'meyee" after 'viiduRRen' . The phrase 'kaNdu viiduRReen' is similar in construction to "uNdu pacitiirntaan" where cause and outcome are described. And since it is said "inRu, kaNdu viiduRReen" , it is implicated that all kinds of births have been suffered and now exhausted and that this is a truth that was not realized earlier days but only now. For the predicate "meyyee" , the subject term "itu" must be brought in (to fill the sense) . In thus emphasizing it is shown that Manikkaa was born repeatedly into various kinds worldly births, and that it is the vision of HIS FEET ( the Dance) that has helped in freeing himself from a such condition and because of which Manikka thinks how wonderful this vision is. After this bring in the 'aatalin' that anticipates a nominal conclusion and at the end and bring in the "oo" in the 'araneeyoo" which has the sense of 'unakku oolam" i.e. a recitation for you.
