M.D. Micro Detectors introduces the new cubic miniaturized Photoelectric Sensor QMRG: the perfect solution for critical applications.This product allows the perfect detection of transparent objects thanks to a distan-ce capability range between Photoelectric Sensor and reflector from 50 mm to 1,5 m.It can be used to detect plastic and glass bottles and any kind of plastic films.

The trimmer adjustment allows an easy and quick setting for an excellent detection sensitivity, which together with a high switching frequency of 2 Khz, grants a much more precise detection.

The red visible light emission simplifies and speeds up the sensor installation, al-lowing an immediate alignment procedure.

It is available with NPN or PNP output, NO/NC, selectable through a second trimmer, cable exit, M8 plug exit and M8/M12 pigtail version.

The product, IP67 certified, is with re-sin full filled, for granting better performan-ces in harsh environments. Particularly fit-table in high vibration fields, this sensor together with the armored brackets, ST103 and ST104, grants a complete shock protection.QMRG sensor enlarges the present QM series of-fer, which is one of the most complete range on the Market.

M.D. Micro Detectors, always considered one of the first industrial sensors supplier in wood wor-king machines, is glad to launch the new fork sen-sor FC4 series used to detect belt oscillation on polishing machines.

Polishing machines are normally equipped with a belt which oscillates continuously, for ensuring a uniform panel polishing, and for avoiding any ma-nufacturing imprecision; since the raw material pa-nel could be larger or smaller than the belt itself this must be oscillating to ensure a uniform pro-cessing.

The FC4 sensor is the best solution for this kind of application, thanks to its four optical beams: the two internal ones check the oscillation width of the belt, the two external ones activate the alarm output in case of incorrect positioning

M.D Micro Detectors Ultrasonic Sensors UK1, M18 family, are now available also in cable ver-sion and NPN output.

The Ultrasonic Sensors range consists of the fol-lowing series: UK1A, UK1C, UK1D, UK1F.

The UK1F sensors, particularly, have a working range between 200 and 2,200 mm, and can de-tect, in direct diffuse mode, targets at a distance normally reachable by M30 sensors.

Through their compact body, they can be easily fit-ted in narrow spaces.

These products have two different types of adjustments (window teach-in and direct on the object) and their present configurations con-sist of six different output versions:

• Single analogic output in tension 0…10 V • Single analogic output in current 4..20 mA • Single digital output PNP NO/NC or NPN NO/NC• Double digital output PNP NO/NC or NPN NO/NC• Mixed digital output PNP NO/NC or NPN NO/NC and analogic 4..20 mA or 0…10 V.

Thanks to the Teach-in button they are extremely easy to be set.

The complete range is cULus, ATEX certified (cat.3, zone 2.22 for gas and dusts).

UK1 Ultrasonic Sensors have been tested with success in different applications and industries. The ultrasonic technology, whose M.D. Micro De-tectors is one of the few worldwide producer, al-lows to solve different application problems: it is possible, in fact, to detect targets in spite of the color, the shape and the type of material.

Typical applications are the following:level measuring (flour, grain, food and beverage industry in general), presence detection (wood industry, steel industry…), distance measuring (earthmoving machines, refuse compactors).

The complete UK and UT ultrasonic sensors range is ATEX and cULus certified.

M.D. Micro Detectors increases its M18 Ultrasonic Sensors family with the UK6 series, characteri-zed by an extremely compact body.

UK6 has a body length of only 6 cm (including connector) and it is able to detect the presence of any colored and shining objects, up to 900 mm, in all applications with a narrow space of installation.

The maximum distance adjustment and the “nor-mally open/normally closed” switching state selec-tion are possible through the remote Teach-in ca-ble, optimizing the installation time, through an easier and rapid adjustment procedure.

It is available either with 4 pins M12 plug or ca-ble version, and also with PNP/NPN output or with analogic output 0…10V or 4…20mA.

M.D. Micro Detectors, in the continuous effort to increase the Ultrasonic Sensor series, is glad to

launch the new UT1 range, which with its excel-lent performances set this product at the top of the market.

The UT1 series introduces a new standard on the market with an extremely compact body, and it is particularly suitable for detecting the presen-ce of objects of any color and shine up to 3,500 mm distance.

The Teach-in button allows the state switching and two adjustment modes (window teach-in and maxi-mum distance adjustment).

We can offer a wide range of models: models with mixed output fitted for the distribution, models with adjustable hysteresis fitted for detection of levels and many others.

M.D. Micro Detectors, in the continuous deve-lopment of the Proximity Sensor range, introduces the new C18 and C30 series that is M18 and M30 Capacitive Sensors which complete the present range.

The M18 version is comprehensive of shielded mo-dels with working range 3…8 mm and unshielded models with working range 3…12 mm, available with PNP or NPN output –NO/NC and cable con-nection or 4 pins M12 plug in version.

Furthermore we have available DC models 10..40 Vdc and AC models 20…250 Vac.

The M30 version is comprehensive of models with stainless steel housing with working range 2…16 mm for the shielded models and 4…25 mm for the unshielded models.New models are also available with rectangular flat body CQ50 and CQ55 series.

One of the main feature is also the extremely com-pact body 7x30x50 mm for the CQ50 series with a working range from 5 mm up to 10 mm; while the CQ55 body is 15x35x57.5 mm with a working range of 4…25 mm.

M.D. Micro Detectors, in updating its product ran-ge, is glad to inform you about the introduction of three new safety light curtains series, each one equipped with an integrated control unit: LS2, LS4 and LP4 type.LS2 and LS4 series, respectively belonging to Type 2 (SIL 2 SILCL 2 PL d) and Type 4 ( SIL 3 SILCL 3 PL e) categories, are characterized by a short body and by absence of dead zone on one of the two extremities, so they can guarantee a 40 mm resolution in case of angular installations of models 30 mm and 40 mm resolution.

LS2 series is available in hand protection version (30 mm), presence check version (50 mm and 90 mm) and also in access control version (2,3 and 4 beams), with 1,500 mm maximum controlled height and operating distance up to 12 m.

LS4 series offers also finger protection models (14 m) and a 20 m improved operating distance, together with all LS2 series resolutions and to its 12 m standard range.Moreover, thanks to the master/slave (up to 2 slaves) configuration option, it grants a bigger

flexibility installation, easily fitting on the machine structure through a quick cable connection.

Even for an easier and quicker installation and set-ting up process, LS2, LS4 have been equipped with an anti-interference function, which allows the selection of two different ranges through cable. Such a system avoids any mutual interference trouble between devices.

IP69K protection degree models, LS4_H, LS4_K and LS2_H, LS2_K, are ideal for Food & Beve-rage, Chemical sectors and in every environment where it is necessary to work with hot water jets up to 80°C and 80 bar pressure, thanks to their pipe which close hermetically the barrier inside and thanks to a pre-cabled 10 m cable, which allows an easy installation process.In case of moisture, the perfect solution are LS4-H and LS2_H models, due to their internal self-heating system which allows to work up to -25°C, avoiding in this way moisture on the optics.

LP4 series with Type 4 increased section (SIL 3 SILCL 3 PL e), is typically used in pallet and mo-ving goods fields thanks to its integrated connec-tions which can connect up to 4 muting sensors (single and doubled directions). It offers both hand protections and access control up to 60 m range and a maximum protected height up to 1,800 mm.

LP4 reflective models with passive element, are the right solution for the customers, since they re-duce and fast the cabling phases and they can be installed in reduced spaces where power cable installation is usually difficult.

LP4 models are available both with or without mu-ting function, and also with override functionModels with 2,3,4 beams and 6 m maximum ope-rative distance are also available with passive ele-ment.

A wide range of accessories is offered together with light curtains series: mirrors with or without column for perimeter protection, laser pointer for a correct and faster alignment in case of maximum ranges use, columns bringing curtains on standard or spring base, anti-vibration bases capable to fix the curtains on machines like: presses, punches and typically in presence of strong vibrations, stir-rups and cables.

M.D. Micro Detectors offers new connection cables at enhanced temperature.Cables are fitted with M12 plug in and have a range of temperature extended from - 25 up to +105°C.

We have available 5 m, 10 m cable length, 4 wi-res models , axial and 90° versions.

They can match with inductive sensors ET (ETM1, M12 housing; ETK1, M18 housing) and PF_26 (PFM1_26, M12 housing; PFK1_26, M18 housing).

A New range of cables cCSAus certified is also available for North America market.
