1 Introduction

This manual must be read and studied by everybody, who is going to work with this control.You must keep this manual near the manual of the installation, which you have bought.In chapter 2 there’s is a survey with the technical specifications of the MCTT-7 COMBI execution.The control will be described in chapter 3.The final programming of the MCTT-7 control will be described in chapter 4.

2 Technical specifications

This microprocessor has been specially developed for combi executions and contains for convenience two 8-digit displays. The control is very easy due to these displays. The control is in action very simplified due to the displays. The control can be free adjusted in a large range and for many purposes. The display for the real and the programmable values and the operating panel will be reproduced clearly, the description with symbols is generally spoken clear.

The control can store 99 programs of 9 steps. Each program contains a readable title. There’s a readable execution sheltered with every step (a special process end).You can define for every step two programmed room temperature values, one programmed humidity value, one programmed core temperature value, one programmed delta-T value, one programmed F/C-value, the step time, one programmed value for opening the inlet and outlet valves.

The control contains displays for the real and the programmed value of the room- and core temperature and the humidity, one display for the time, program- and step number just as a 8-digit text display for the program- and execution title. There are push buttons for the programmed value of the control ring.

After a drop in current, this microprocessor will continue the interrupted program.

The control contains 3 PT-100 temperature sensors for the room-, core- and humidity temperature. There will be 18 potential free outlet relays controlled. To every outlet relay can be given a name. The control controls the room temperature with heating and cooling and the moistening of the room.

For adapting to other purposes, you can adjust every unit as a 2-point controller or Xp-controller. To shelter the unit to the relay is completely free. All other relays, which are not going to be used for the unit, can be adjusted as an execution for leading, switch on- or switch off delay or pulsating.

It’s possible to connect a PC or a printer to the microprocessor for data transfer. You have the possibility to create a network of the control with control equipment. Herewith you can keep surveillance and protocolling the temperature course, humidity course and execution. In that way you can see this as an embracing quality control for the products which can de prepared in this installation.

The control is bilingual. That means that all texts and mentions in German or English can be shown. Extra you can transpose all texts and mentions, which are shown to the user into another language You can store these transposed texts and mentions too.

“Room-Min” : Input minimal value (desired) room temperature (programmed heating value).

“Room-Max” : Input maximal (desired) room temperature (programmed cooling value).“Core” : Input programmed core temperature.“Delta-T” : Input programmed delta-T temperature and F/C-value.“Humidity” : Input programmed humidity value.“Air circulation” : The choice between High- and Low Speed or by means of Code 5012

3.2 Input

3.2.1 Action situation

When the control is in action, we can distinguish 3 action situations:

Basic settings:The real value and the time will be shown. There are no values on the program- and step display. The LED on the push buttons “Prog” and “Start/Stop” are both off.On the upper text display appears “-- SPAKO --” and on the lower text display appears “-MCTT7-”. This text was entered as a basic text and the text can be changed. When you push pushbutton “P” the control will change over to the program mode.

By pushing on a number button, the first step will be shown from the program you have chosen with the number button. The program number will blink and can be adjusted. The program title will be shown on the upper text display and the programmed executions will be shown on the lower text display.By pushing the “Start/Stop” pushbutton, the program will start. The control will change over in the action mode. Action mode:The program number, program title, step number, execution and the real and programmed value will be shown.The program will go on. The “Start/Stop” pushbutton’s LED will light up. When you push on the pushbutton, you can adjust the programmed value of the actual step.

By pushing on the ”P” pushbutton, the program mode can be called up out of the action mode. This makes it possible to adjust the programmed value in the action mode. These adjustments are enduring. When you adjust the values without pushing on the “P” pushbutton, it’s once-only (see page 16).

From the action mode, you can also call the display mode up. In this mode you can see all programmed values from all program steps. This makes it possible that the operator can see for example the programmed value in step 3, while step 2 is running. For switching to the display mode you have to push on the “Text” pushbutton. As a reaction the LED’s of the “Prog Nr.” and “Stap” pushbuttons will light up.By pushing on the “Text” pushbutton again, you will leave the display mode.

After the program termination, the program end will be shown. And a sound will be given.

Programming and settings:The “P” pushbutton’s LED wil light up. The programmed value of the actual program step can be adjusted. By pushing on the “P” pushbutton all data will be stored. The control will go to the basic settings or go back to the action mode.

3.2.2 Text input

The control disposes of two text displays, in which the program title, executions and different mentions and texts can be shown. The program title, execution and the most important mentions are programmable. Moreover there will be distinguish between one-line texts, two-line texts and running texts:

One-line text:This is a text, which contains a maximum of 8 characters and it appear in a text display.

Two-line text:This is a text, which contains out of 16 characters and it will appear in both text displays. The input of this two-line text is on the basis of two one-line texts.That is that you have to enter the first 8 characters of the text in the upper text display, next you must push on the “Text” pushbutton.After that you can enter the last 8 characters in the lower text display.

Running text:This is a text, which contains a maximum of 100 characters. This text runs from right to the left over one of the two text displays. The input must be done also in one of the two text displays. You can move the cursor in the text display between the first and the hundredth character. On the display you can see all the time a part of 8 characters from the running text.

You can input the text as followed;

The text will be shown on one of the two text displays (this text can be adjusted). The cursor blinks on the first position of the text. With the “Left” and “Right” push buttons you can move the cursor to the position you prefer within the text, you would like to adjust.For the input you must use the “Marks-Characters”, “Plus” and “Minus” pushbuttons:

“1ABC” “2DEF” “3GHI” “4JKL” “5MNO” “6PQR” “7STU” “8VWX” “9YZٱ” “0ÄÖÜ”

With these pushbuttons you can enter the marks and characters, which are represented on the pushbuttons.The input goes as followed:

Input of marks and characters (small)By pushing 1x on a pushbutton, the first mark appears (e.g. pushbutton “1ABC” “1”). When you push another time on that same pushbutton the first character appears (e.g. pushbutton “1ABC” “a”). When you push for the third time on that same pushbutton the second character appears (e.g. pushbutton “1ABC” “b”).When you push for the fourth time on that same pushbutton the third character appears (e.g. pushbutton “1ABC” “c”).

PAY ATTENTION!For the pushbutton “9YZٱ”, is with for small characters a “ß” programmed as third character.

Input of marks and capital charactersThe input of capital characters is the same as for the small characters. The difference is that you have to push the “Test” pushbutton before you push on a arbitrary “Marks-Characters” pushbutton. But you have to keep the “Test” pushbutton pushed.

PAY ATTENTION!For the pushbutton “9YZٱ”, is with for the capital characters an empty space programmed for the third character.

Input of other charactersThe control contains a list of symbols. This list doesn’t only contain marks and characters. This list of symbols is located in table 1.These symbols can be chosen with the “Up” and “Down” pushbuttons.If you want to program e.g. an exclamation mark, you must push on the “Up” or “Down” pushbuttons until the exclamation mark appears.

3.3 Basic settings

The basic settings are the the starting point for the control from the view of the action mode or the program mode.The displays will show the real values of the room temperature, core temperature, humidity and time. The program number and step number will show dashes. In the upper text display appears “-- SPAKO --” and in the lower text display appears “-MCTT7-”. This text was entered as a basic text, but this text can be adjusted. Not all pushbuttons have a function in the basic settings.

3.3.1 Switching in the program mode

When you want to adjust the programmed values, you have to switch to the program mode. You can swith from the basic settings to the progrma mode by pushing on the “P” pushbutton.The real values go out and on the text display appears “Program mode” and the program number display blinks. The control will now switch to the program mode.When you now want to enter programs, first you must enter the desired program number. When on the text display the text “Program mode blocked” appears, that means that the programming protection is active.

3.3.2 Enter a code number

When you want to adjust the settings of the control, you have to enter a code number. With these code numbers you can avoid unauthorized adjustments.

Entering a code number:

Push in the basic settings on the “P” pushbutton, now you must wait until the program number display blinks. When it blinks, you must push on the “Code” pushbutton. In the upper text display appears “Code?: 0000”. The cursor is on the first position of the number 0000 which is shown.Now you must enter the desired code for the desired setting with the “Mark-Character” pushbuttons or with the “Up” and “Down” pushbuttons. Now you can move the cursor with the “Left” or “Right” pushbuttons. When the text “Code blocked” appears on the text display the settings protection is active.With Code 2001 you can check and re-adjust the time and date.

3.3.3 Switching in the test mode

The separate control parts like relays, LED’s, displays, pushbuttons etc. can be checked in the test mode. When you push in the basic settings on the “Text” pushbutton, you will enter the test mode.

3.3.4 Starting a program

When you are in the basic settings en you want to start a program, you have two options:

Option 1You must push on the “Prog Nr.” pushbutton, “Choose a Program” will appear in the text display, blinking 00 and in the upper text display appears “Program choice”.Now you can enter a program number. When you have entered a number than this number will be shown blinking in the program display and in the step display appears “1”, this means that step 1 is pre-programmed after the program input. The programmed values of both program step as the program title and the execution appears in the displays. By pushing on the “Step” pushbutton you can raise the step with one.

Option 2You must push on one of the “Mark-Character” pushbuttons “1” – “9” with which the program number will start. In the program number display appears the program number “01” to “09” and this program number is blinking.This is dependent from the numbers which you have entered. Now appears in the step display “1”, this means that step 1 is pre-programmend according to program input.The programmed value of the program steps, like the program title and the execution will appear in the displays.Is the program, that you would like to start a one-digit number, that means 1-9, than you can push on the “Step” pushbutton to raise the step each time with one.Is the program, that you would like to start a two-digit number, than you must enter the second mark of the program. In the program number display will appear the chosen program number, this program number is blinking.Now appears in the step display “1”, this means that step 1 is pre-programmed after the program input. The programmed values of the program step, like the program title and the execution will appear in the displays.By pushing on the “Step” pushbutton, you can raise the step in the step display each time with one.If you push now on the “Start/Stop” pushbutton, you can enter the starttime and startdate for the program. You can switch between the startdate and the starttime, by pushing on the “Text” pushbutton.If you push again on the “Start/Stop” pushbutton, without adjusting the starttime, the control switches over to the active mode. In the other case it switches over to the waiting mode.

Example to start program 24 in step 5 immediately:

1. Push in the basic settings on the “Mark-Character” pushbutton “2”. On the program number display appears “02”. On the step display appears “1” and the programmed values like the program title of program 2 and the execution of step 1 will be shown.

2. Now push on the “Mark-Character” pushbutton “4”. On the program number display blinks now “24”. On the step display appears “1” and the programmed values like the program title of program 24 and the execution of step 1 will be shown.

3. Now push 4x on the “Step” pushbutton so that in the step display “05” appears and the programmed values and the real values, like the execution of step 5 will be shown.

4. Push on the “Start/Stop” pushbutton. On the upper text display appears: “Start at:”. And on the lower text display appears the actual time.

5. Now push on the “Start/Stop” pushbutton. The control switches over to the action mode.

Example to start program 24 in step 5 on the 30th of August at 5.15:

1. Push in the basic settings on the “Mark-Character” pushbutton “2”. On the program number display appears “02”. On the step display appears “1” and the programmed values like the program title of program 2 and the execution of step 1 will be shown.

2. Now push on the “Mark-Character” pushbutton “4”. On the program number display blinks now “24”. On the step display appears “1” and the programmed values like the program title of program 24 and the execution of step 1 will be shown.

3. Now push 4x on the “Step” pushbutton so that in the step display “05” appears and the programmed values and the real values, like the execution of step 5 will be shown.

4. Now push on the “Start/Stop” pushbutton. On the upper text display appears: “Start at:”. And on the lower text display appears the actual time as the starttime. Now youcan adjust this starttime with the “Cursor” and “Mark-Character” pushbuttons.

5. Now push on the following pushbuttons “0”, “Right”, “5”, “Right”, “1”, “Right” and “5”: As the starttime will be given “05:15:00”.

6. Now push on the “Text” pushbutton. On the lower text display appears the date of today or tomorrow. This is dependent from which starttime you have entered. Is the starttime later than the actual time, than the date of today will appear. Is the starttime earlier than the actual time, than automatically the date of tomorrow will appear as a proposal.

7. Now push on the following pushbuttons “3”, “Right”, “0”, “Right”, “0”, “Right” and “8”: As the startdate will be given “30.08.00”. “00” stands for the actual year: 2000 = 00, 2001 = 01 etc.

8. Now push on the “Start/Stop” pushbutton. The control switches over to the waiting mode.

The program 24 will be started in step 5 at 5.15 on the 30th of August. By pushing on the “Start/Stop” pushbutton you can delete the above mentioned program and the control returns to the basic settings.

3.3.5 Starting a program

In the basic settings can be shown the humidity temperature instead of the room temperature. When you want to see the humidity temperature you must push on the “Humidity” pushbutton. The LED of this pushbutton will blink and the humidity temperature will be shown. When you push again on the “Humidity” pushbutton the room temperature will appear again.

3.4 Action mode

After starting a program, the control is in the action mode. The LED of the “Start/Stop” pushbutton will blink and the real values, like the program number, step number, program title and execution will appear. The relays will be lead by the pre-programmed values and executions.After pushing on a pushbutton, you can correct the programmed values transiently. After terminating the program, the program end will be shown and sound will be given. A program will start each time with the programmed step and it will run all steps until step 9.A step with no valid programmed values will be skipped.

If a program will end, the control will give a sound.

PAY ATTENTION!There’s a possibility to combine two or more programs, that means that these programs will be run after eachother. The combined programs must be consecutive.Example: programs with the numbers 1,2,3 or 23,24,25 or 59,60,61 can be combined with eachother. The following programs cannot be combined with eachother: 1,3,12 or 23,43,7 or 64,59,81,33.The combination takes place, by programming step 9 as the first ending program with valid values. The control starts automatically step 1 of the next program after step 9 has ended.

3.4.1 Displays and LED’s

The programmed values of the actual program steps will be shown in the action mode. These real values can only be shown on the displays after pushing on a pushbutton. The pushbutton LED’s will care that the programmed values will be shown on the display. Besides serves the LED’s as a check of the settings of the unit.

Room temperature display:The room display shows always the real room temperature.

If this display is blinking after pushing on the “Room-Min” pushbutton, blinks the pushbutton “Room-Min” and the programmed “Room-Min” (programmed heating value) will be shown and this value can be adjusted.

If this display is blinking after pushing on the “Room-Max” pushbutton, blinks the pushbutton “Room-Max” and the programmed “Room-Max” (programmed cooling value) will be shown and this value can be adjusted.

Core temperature display:The core display shows always the real core temperature.

One push on the “Core” pushbutton will light up the LED of this pushbutton and the programmed core value will blink.

If this display is blinking after pushing on the “Delta-T” pushbutton, blinks the pushbutton “Delta-T” and the programmed “Delta-T” will be shown and this value can be adjusted.

Humidity display (if present):The humidity display shows always the real humidity value.

When you push on the “Humidity” pushbutton, the LED of this pushbutton will light up and the programmed humidity value will appear on the display blinking, now you can adjust this value.

Time display:The time display will show without blinking the exact expiring steptime or the measured real F/C-values. If this real F/C-value will be shown, than there appears on the last position of the time display an “F”.A switch to the display of the real F/C-values, you can achieve by pushing 3x on the “Delta-T” pushbutton.A switch to the display of the steptime, you can achieve by pushing 2x on the “Time” pushbutton.

The F/C-value will be shown with a number of three digits. On the fourth position stays the mark F, which stands for the indication of the F/C-values. And by that an unambiguous distinction will be made with the indication of the time.The maximal F/C-value, which can be determined by the MCTT-7, lays at 655. A step across over this value will be indicated by a blinking “F“ on the display.

Is the time display blinking after you have pushed on the “Time“ pushbutton, than the programmed time values of the just expired steps will be shown.Now a new transient programmed time value can be entered. Doesn’t the time display blink, than the expiring time will be shown at this momen. The LED of the “Time“ pushbutton will light up always after a program ends.

When the time display is blinking after you have pushed 2x on the “Delta-T” pushbutton, than the programmed F/C-value of the just expired steps will be shown and the LED of the “F/C-value” will light up.A new transient F/C-value can be entered now. Doesn’t the time display blink, after pushing 3x on the “Delta-T“ pushbutton, the actual F/C-value will be shown.

Program- and step number display:The displays for the program- and step number always show the actual program step.

Text displays:Upper text display;The program title of the running program will be shown on this text display.Besides this display will be used for showing error mentions, like e.g. short-circuit etc.

Lower text display;The execution of the running program steps will be shown on this text display.For the program end the following blinking mention will be given “ End ”. This mention can be adjusted with Code 2100 “Adjusting text mentions”.Besides this display will be used for showing error mentions, like e.g. short-circuit etc.

At both text displays appears always 2 minutes before the step ending the following blinking mention “Next” followed by for the next programmed execution, as the following step valid programmed values contains. Otherwise appears the mention “ Next End “.

These texts can be adjusted in other languages met Code 2100 “Adjusting text mentions”.

Pushbuttons LED’s:When none of the programmed values or the time values will blink in the displays, than you must check the LED’s with the settings of the unit-relays. A blinking LED means a switched on relay.

3.4.2 Temperature control

During the program ending the room temperature will be controlled according to the programmed “Room-Min” and “Room-Max” values.You can set the conduct of the heating control and the cooling control on a 2-point control or a XP-control. You must use Code 1004 for settings adjustments for the relays.

Temperature control:The heating control switches the heating relay with a 2-points control off when it reaches the programmed value and it switches with an adjustable hysteresis under the programmed “Room-Min” (programmed heating value) on. With a XP-control the heating relay will start switching at a stated adjusted temperature under the programmed value.The proportion between the switch-on- and switch-off time of the relay, will modify when approaching near the programmed value. The switching time is adjustable.

The cooling control switches the cooling relay with a 2-points control off when it reaches the programmed value and it switches with an adjustable hysteresis under the programmed “Room-Max” (programmed cooling value) on. With a XP-control the cooling relay will start switching at a stated adjusted temperature above the programmed value.The proportion between the switch-on- and switch-off time of the relay, will modify when approaching near the programmed value. The switching time is adjustable.

The conduct when temperature sensor will fail:When a sensor short-circuit of sensor fracture appears when the control is in action, than the program will be stopped and a conformable error mention will be shown on the text display and a sound will be given. The error mention stands on the display until you push on a pushbutton. The control will switch to the basic settings.

3.4.3 Humidity control

Humidity control (if present):When the actual step is in action with the programmed humidity value, the humidity relay will be lead. This humidity relay is as a switching 2-points control or XP-control adjustable.With a 2-point control the humidity relay will be switched off when reaching the programmed value and it switches on with an adjustable hysteresis under the programmed value. At that the relay switches with adjustable switch-on- and switch-off times.

With a XP-control the humidity relay will start switching at a stated adjusted humidity under the programmed value.The proportion between the switch-on- and switch-off time of the relay, will modify when approaching near the programmed value. The switching time is adjustable.

Pulse humidity:The humidity can also be adjusted as a humidity control. For a pulse humidity you do not need a humidity sensor. The switch-on time of a humidity relay is always te same, the swith-off time of a humidity relay will be entered in seconds as a programmed humidity value.

3.4.4 Air circulation relayAre in a program step the air circulation relays programmed, than these will be lead at the beginning of the step conformable with their switch condition the air circulation relays can be adjusted with a switch-on delay, follow delay, pulsing or without delay.For setting adjustments for the relays, you must use Code 1004.

3.4.5 Programmed value changes in action mode

3.4.5.1 Once-only changes in action mode

When you want to correct the programmed values for an expiring program step, you must push on the conformable pushbutton in the program mode and you can adjust the transient programmed value. All programmed value changes in the action mode are only valid in this step and they won’t be stored in the memory of the program. After the ending of the steps, these changes will go lost.

3.4.5.2 Non-transient programmed value input in the action mode

You can call up the the program mode out of the action mode by pushing on the “P” pushbutton. You can enter and adjust the program steps, during the running of other programs.

3.4.6 Ending program steps

A program step will end when it reaches at least one of the switch-off conditions. When there is a programmed value not programmed (zero), the switch-off conditions are also switched off than.

Switch-off conditions are: Ending of the programmed step time at 00.00 Achieving of the programmed core value Achieving of the programmed F/C-value

HINT!When a program step will be terminated respectively switched back by pushing on the “Step” respectively “Step” + “Prog.Nr.” pushbuttons, the time lead situation relays will switch like they are programmed.Special attentive are the relays with the switch situation “switch-on delay”, “swith-off delay” and “Leading”.

3.4.7 Ending a program

When a program step ends, the next step will start. After program step 9 has ended, the program will end. The control gives a signal and the following text appears in the text display : “Off Prog”.

A program with more than 9 steps:If 9 steps for one process aren’t sufficient, you can combine more programs. If step 9 is programmed and also step 1 of the next program is programmed, the program progress will continue with step 1 of the next program until a step 9 isn’t programmed.

3.4.8 Special functions in action mode

You can show several values in the action mode by pushing on the pushbuttons in a special order.

Pushing on pushbutton “Code”, “2”:Instead of the room temperature the humidity temperature (if present) will be shown. The humidity temperature will be on the display for ± 15 seconds or until you push on the same pushbuttons. The room temperature will be shown with a new program start.

Pushing on pushbutton“Code”, “Hour”:The actual time will be shown instead of the step time. When you want to see the step time you must push on the “Hour” pushbutton again.

3.4.9 Failure conduct

The conduct with sensor fracture or short-circuit:

Room sensor:When the room sensor fails, the control will show the following texts on the text display “Short-circuit V Room” or “Fracture V Room”. A running program will be terminated. When you want to get the equipment active again, you must change the room sensor and the humidity sensor (see Code 4005 “changing sensor”).

Core sensor:When the core sensors fail, the control will show the following texts on the text display “Short-Circuit V Core” or “Fracture V Core”. A running program will be terminated. When you

want to get the equipment active again, you must adjust the Core-, Delta-T- and F/C-value to “00”.

Humidity sensor (if present):When the humidity sensors fail, the control will show the following texts on the text display “Short-Circuit V Humidity” or “Fracture V Humidity”. A running program will be terminated. When you want to get the equipment active again, you must adjust the programmed humidity value to “00” (no more humidity), to P/P-humidity or to humidity control.

Current fall out:When there is a current fall out or when you switch off the power supply, the actual execution of the control will be restored.When you power will be back on or when you switch the power supply back on, the control will return back to the program just where it was terminated.When a program ended just before the current fall out, the control will check if the room temperature isn’t dropped too much and when this value is below an ultimate value, the control gives a signal and the following text appears on the text display “Power failure”, otherwise the program will continue.

All above mentioned mentions, which can be shown in the text displays, can be changed. When you to translate or change these texts you must use Code 2100 “Adjusting text mentions”.

3.4.10 Door contact (if present)

The control contains besides the analogous inlets also 4 digitize inlets for temperature measures. One of these inlets, namely inlet D1 works as a door contact. This door contact must be connected as a potential free contact instead of the inlaid bridge. It can be programmed for all executions if the door contact must be open or closed with which the program step, conformable with this execution, will end.Will the programmed execution distinghuish from the real execution of the door contact, the program termination will stop and all the relays will be switched off. In the upper text display appears the following text “Door opened. Program stopped”, “Door opened. Program stopped”. This text will run from the right to the left and this text will appear every 30 seconds. The equipment stops until the real execution of the door contact will be equal to the programmed execution.The equipment will be supplied with the settings, which take care for that the door contact must be closed until the program has ended.All above mentioned mentions, which can be shown in the text displays, can be changed. When you to translate or change these texts you must use Code 2102 “Adjusting running text mentions”.

3.4.11 Motor failure ontact

The control contains besides the analogous inlets also 4 digitize inlets for external mentions. One of these inlets, namely inlet D4 works as a motor failure contact. This motor failure contact must be connected as a potential free contact instead of the inlaid bridge. In the upper text display appears the following text “Motor failure Program stopped”, “Motor failure Program stopped”. This text will run from the right to the left and this text will appear every 30 seconds. The equipment stops until this failure is corrected.All above mentioned mentions, which can be shown in the text displays, can be changed. When you to translate or change these texts you must use Code 2102 “Adjusting running text mentions”.

3.4.12 Analogous outlets

The control contains besides the analogous inlets for temperature measures and the 4 digitize inlets also 3 analogous outlets 0 – 10 V (optional 0 – 20 mA). These will be indicated with A1, A2 and A3 and they have the following functions:

A1:The programmed value for stepless air circulation will be shown in terms of percentage.

The programmed value for stepless air circulation can have an amount of 0 – 99 %, this is conformable with an outlet value of 0 – 9,9 V.

Yet the stepless air circulation must be released (Code 5012 “Stepless air circulation”).

By connecting to a frequency control the stepless will be realized.

A2:The programmed value for the outlet valve will be shown in terms of percentage.

The programmed value for the settings of the outlet valve can have an amount of 0 – 99 %, this is conformable with an outlet value of 0 – 9,9 V.

By connecting to a fitting proportion valve you can stepless adjust the outlet valve.

A3:The programmed value for the inlet valve will be shown in terms of percentage.

The programmed value for the settings of the inlet valve can have an amount of 0 – 99 %, this is conformable with an outlet value of 0 – 9,9 V.

By connecting to a fitting proportion valve you can stepless adjust the inlet valve.

3.5 Program mode

The program mode serves for the input of programs and the settings (configuration) of the control. When you are in the program mode, the LED of the “P” pushbutton will light up.When you want to change a programmed value of a program, you have to switch to the program mode. When you are in the basic settings and you want to switch to the program mode you have to push on the “P” pushbutton.The real value display will go out, the program number display will start blinking and on the display appears “Program mode”. The control switches over to the program mode as soon as you will enter a program number. When you want to enter a program, you must enter the desired program number. The program protection is active, when the text “Program blocked” appears on the text display.

When you want to adjust settings to the control, you must push on the “P” pushbutton, followed by the “Code” pushbutton. Now in the upper text display appears “Code? 0000”. The cursor is blinking on the first zero of the four zero’s (0000). Now you must enter the conformable code for the desired settings. You must use the “Left” and “Right” pushbuttons to get the cursor in the right position. The settings protection is active, when “Code blocked” appears on the text display.

4 Programming

The program mode is an action mode of the control, where you can program the programs in separate program steps. All the programs will be valid in the memory after entering, also without current.

The program mode can be left by pushing on the “P” pushbutton. The control will switch back to the basic settings.

All the following programmed values can be activated and enterend by pushing on the conformable pushbuttons:

Program title. Execution (e.g.: Smoking, Cooking, Frying, Drying etc.). Programmed “Room-Min” value for the temperature control of the heating. Programmed “Room-Max” value for the temperature control of the cooling. Programmed core value as switch-off condition for the steps. Delta-T temperature for uniform heating of the room. F/C-value as switch-off condition (killing bacterium). Programmed humidity control for the humidity control. P/P-programmed humidity control for the humidity control. Air circulation step 1 or 2, respectively programmed value for stepless air circulation,

released by Code 5012. Valves settings for air inlet. Valves settings for air outlet. Step time as switch-off condition for the steps.

There must be at least a programmed “Room-Min” or a programmed “Room-Max” and an execution been programmed in a program step, otherwise the step is invalid (empty).

When you want to switch off a switch-off condition (e.g. the programmed core value), the conformable programmed value must be adjusted to zero.If all the switch-off conditions (F/C-value, programmed core value, programmed step time) will be adjusted to zero, this program step will continue in duration until this will be manually terminated by pushing on the “Step” pushbutton.You can program several switch-off conditions within single steps (e.g. programmed core value and step time). Each time when the first switch-off condition will be reached, the step will be terminated.

Programable switch-off conditions:

Core switch-off (cooking);The programmes core value will be programmed lower than the programmed “Room-Min” value. The program step will be terminated, if the real temperature raises towards the programmed core value or when the real temperature is above the programmed core value.

F/C-value switch-off;The program step will be terminated, if the real F/C-value will reach for the programmed F/C-value or when it exceeds the programmed F/C-value.

Time switch-off;The program step will be terminated, if the programmed step time has been run down towards zero.

4.1 Entering a program (Programming)

After pushing on the “P” pushbutton the following text will appear shortly on the text display “Program mode”, afterwards the program number display will blink to indicate the input of the desired program. Now you must enter a program number of 2 digits with the “Marks-Characters” pushbuttons or you can make a choice for a program with the “Plus” and “Minus” pushbuttons. The programmed values of the first step will appear on the displays after entering and none of the displays is blinking.

All changes of the programmed values keep restored in the memory after leaving the program mode. The values keep also restored when the current will be switched off.

When you want to enter the programmed values of the next step, you must push firstly on the “Step” pushbutton, the step number will be raised and the accessory programmed values will be shown. The step number can also be switched back by pushing simultaneously on the “Step“ and “Prog.Nr.” pushbuttons.

You can leave the program mode by pushing on the “P” pushbutton. The control will switch back to the basic settings.

Input limits:When you enter new programmed values, the control will check the value range of the input. When there is a value above the maximum programmed value or below the minimum programmed value, the entered programmed value will be limited automatically. The programmed value limits can be adjusted (Code 3001 and 3002 “Limiting the programmed value limits”).E.g. when a programmed “Room-Min” of 310 °C will be entered and the maximum programmed value limit is adjusted at 300 °C, the entered programmed value will be limited at 300 °C.

Input of programmed “Room-Min” values:When you push on the “Room-Min” pushbutton, the LED of this pushbutton will light up and on the display appears the programmed “Room-Min” value blinking. Now you must enter a new programmed “Room-Min” value of 3 digits with the “Marks-Characters” pushbuttons.The programmed “Room-Min” value shows the programmed value for the room temperature control of the heating.

PAY ATTENTION!When you enter a programmed “Room-Max” value (for the cooling) and the programmed “Room-Min” value is higher, like the programmed “Room-Max” value will change, the programmed “Room-Max” value will be adjusted automatically to get a difference between the both programmed values.

Example: Until now: programmed “Room-Min” value: 30 °C, programmed “Room-Max” value:

35 °C Difference 5 °C Modification programmed “Room-Min” value to 42 °C So afterwards, programmed “Room-Min” value 42 °C; programmed “Room-Max”

value: 47 °C

Input of programmed “Room-Max” values:When you push on the “Room-Max” pushbutton, the LED of this pushbutton will light up and on the display appears the programmed “Room-Max” value blinking. Now you must enter a new programmed “Room-Max” value of 3 digits with the “Marks-Characters” pushbuttons.

Now you must enter a new programmed “Core” value of 2 digits with the “Marks-Characters” pushbuttons.With the programmed core temperature you can terminate a running program step if the real core value the programmed core value will reach or exceed.

Input of the Delta-T temperature:When you push on the “Delta-T” pushbutton, the LED of this pushbutton will light up and on the display appears the programmed “Delta-T” value blinking. Now you must enter a new programmed “Delta-T” value of 3 digits with the “Marks-Characters” pushbuttons.This delta-T temperature will take care for a slow and equal heating of the product. The room temperature will be entered with a higher value than the real core temperature of the product. The adjusted programmed room temperture will work as a maximum limit for the “Delta-T” control.

Input of the programmed F/C-70/10 value:When you push 2x on the “Delta-T” pushbutton, the LED of this pushbutton will light up and on the humidity display appears “FC” and the time display will show the programmed F/C-value blinking. Now you must enter a new programmed F/C-value of 4 digits with the “Marks-Characters” pushbuttons.With the programmed F/C-value you can terminate a running program step if the real F/C-value the programmed F/C-value will reach or exceed.

Input of the programmed humidity value (if present):When you push on the “Humidity” pushbutton, the LED of this pushbutton will light up and on the display appears the programmed humidity value. Now you must enter a new programmed humidity value of 2 digits with the “Marks-Characters” pushbuttons.The programmed humidity value represents the programmed humidity control. When the room humidity value will stay below the programmed humidity value, the humidification will be switched on.When the programmed humidity value will be exceeded by the room humidity value, the humidification will be switched off.

Input of the programmed P/P-humidity value (if present):Example: 3 is 3 seconds pause and the pulse is adjusted at 3 seconds (see Code 1004).

Input for valves settings for air inlet:The valves settings for the air inlet can be adjusted stepless between 0 – 99 %.When you push on the “Inlet/Outlet” pushbutton, the LED of this pushbutton will light up and the both left positions in the time display are blinking and they show the programmed value of the valves settings for the air inlet.Now you must enter a new value of 2 digits with the “Marks-Characters” pushbuttons.

Now you must enter a new value of 4 digits with the “Marks-Characters” pushbuttons.With the programmed step time you can terminate a running, if the programmed step time will be run back towards zero (if a programmed value will be programmed, the programmed time will run back towards 0 in the action mode, than the control switches to the next step)

Input of the program title:The MCTT-7 control can restore for each program the title of 8 characters.You must push on the “Text” pushbutton to enter the program titles. In the upper text display appears a blinking cursor on the forst position.Now you can enter marks, characters or other symbols with the “Marks-Characters” pushbuttons or with the “Plus” and “Minus” pushbuttons. You can move th cursor over the upper text display with the “Left” and “Right” pushbuttons.

Input of execution:Besides the programmed values you must enter an execution. You must push 1x on the “Text” pushbutton, now you switch to the input mode for program titles. Now push another time on the “Text” pushbutton and you can choose the execution. The execution will be shown blinking in the lower text display. If there is no execution entered, this appears: “________”.When there is no execution chosen, than one step isn’t completely programmed! You can choose an execution with the “Plus” and “Minus” pushbuttons.The execution leads with the control several parts by relay. Per execution you can lead e.g. valves.

PAY ATTENTION!For changing the time and date, you must use Code 2001.

4.2 Invalid program step

You cannot check the entered values completely in the program mode. So you can enter incomplete program steps. In the action mode will every step be checked before this step will be executed. An invalid (insufficient) step will be terminated immediately.

You must enter the following information in a valid program step: Programmed “Room-Min” value or programmed “Room-Max” value Execution

All the other programmed values can be at choice with programmed values be adjusted to zero. A program step, which only can be programmed in the programmed “Room-Min” value or programmed “Room-Max” value and an execution, runs in duration without switch-off condition!

4.3 Deleting a program

Deleting a single program:When you want to delete a single program of 9 steps, you must enter a special code in de basic settings. This code is special for that program and the code consists of the program number +9800.Example:When a program has the program number 10, the code for deleting this program will be 9810.When a program has the program number 83, the code for deleting this program will be 9883.When you push on the “Start/Stop” pushbutton, the program will be deleted. If you push on the “P” pushbutton, the program won’t be deleted.

Example of pushbutton order in the basic settings: Push on the “P” pushbutton, in the text display appears shortly “Program mode”,

afterwards “00” is blinking on the program number display. Push on the“Code” pushbutton, in the upper text display appears “Code?: 0000”. Push on the following pushbuttons: “9”, “Right”, “8”, “Right”, “8”, “Right”, “3”, on the

text display shortly appears: “Deletings Program”. Following on appears on the time display “9883”, on the text display will be shown: “Pushbuttons Start!”.

Now push on the “Start/Stop” pushbutton for deleting the program or push on the “Prog” pushbutton to cancel the deleting. Than the control will switch back to the basic settings.

Deleting all programs:When you want to delete all programs, you must enter the Code 9991 in the basic settings. The control will wait for the start of the deleting or the cancelling and by pushing on the “P” pushbutton the deleting will be activated.In the text displays appear during the deleting “Deleting Prog.:”, followed by the actual program number.

4.4 Program example

4.4.1 Cooking with delta-T treatment

Cooking with delta-T treatment will take care for a slow and equal heating of the product.The room temperature will always be adjusted higher with the delta-T temperature than the real core temperature of the product.This means that the temperature difference between the surface and the core of the product always will be equal. The entered programmed room value will serve as a maximum limit for the room temperature control.A smaller programmed delta-T value, extends the cooking time and the heating will go better. A larger programmed delta-T value, accelerates the cooking time.Besides the programmed room value and the programmed delta-T value you can also enter a programmed core value.

Desired function:When a product will be cooked with the delta-T treatment, the programmed room temperature won’t exceed the 100 °C. The delta-T cooking will be terminated after 10 seconds when the programmed core temperature will be achieved.

Microprocessor is switched on:

8. Number of revolutions of the motor. When you don’t push this pushbutton, the LED is out and the ventilator is also out. When you push 1x on this pushbutton the LED will light up, this means Low Speed. When you push 2x on this pushbutton, the LED will blink, this means High Speed.

9. Push on the “Inlet/Outlet” pushbutton. Enter the position of the inlet valve and push again on the “Inlet/Outlet” pushbutton. Enter the position of the outlet valve. By pushing at the same time on the “Prog” and the “Step” pushbuttons you can go a step back.

Do you want to start immediately, than you must push on the “Start” pushbutton again. Do you want a waiting time, you must enter this waiting time when de chamber must start.
