    TROUBLESHOOTING

Begin by visually inspecting the speaker. Look for any tears, holes, or loose parts. Check the wire terminals on the rearof the speaker, making sure they are tight. Listen to the speaker while it is playing at a moderate volume. Listen for audiodrop outputs, crackling, popping, or other extraneous noises. Disconnect the suspect speaker and exchange it with agood speaker. If the problem is still audible the issue may be caused by a different part of the system.

If the problem is specific to the speaker listen very closely to see which component is making the noise. Woofer prob-lems include low frequency popping, scratchy sounding bass or lower vocal range, and complete loss of all low / midrangesound. Tweeter problems include high-pitched pops and crackles, scratchy sounding high notes, or dull lifeless sound.

Within the United States service can be arranged through our parts and service team at 978-538-5000, or your localdealer.

International parts orders should be directed to your local Boston Acoustics international distributor.
