This season at M&Co pretty pastels, monochromatics and bold bright tropical tones dominate the SS13

collection. Prints are key and are delivered in conversationals, geo prints, sharp Riviera stripes, animal and vibrant florals: ranging from retro Americana ‘50s florals, through to tropical hibiscus blooms. Cleaner silhouettes are important, whilst the ‘50s pencil skirt and soft prom dresses continue to be important with the strong Americana influence. Luxe fabrications and in-house design combine to make a statement collection this season, with shoes and accessories designed to complement the collection. Whilst in contrast, the soft laundered look is key to give a really soft and new finish to casualwear.

Retro Riviera - For a nod to nautical, the “Retro Riviera” collection is presented complete with classic French navy and white stripes, seen in the belted stripe shift dress and the fun retro anchor jumper. Geo prints are added for a contemporary twist seen in the “must-have” printed slim leg trouser which can be worn back with a simple white lace top. Coral adds an injection of colour to this classic look with pink and lime neon highlights as seen on the catwalk.

Channel “Riviera chic” and ooze femininity in the signature scenic print belted soft prom dress and the monochrome conversational boat print dress. Complete the look with peep toe sandals and oversize sunglasses.

Mod Couture - Inspired by the clean and feminine silhouettes of the sixties, monochromatics combine with pops of red for a “Mod Couture” collection. For retro lady-like elegance comes the poppy red shift dress with delicate floral applique and bead detail. Flower power is paramount to the collection with signature bloom prints in blouson tops and pretty chiffon summer dresses and decorative floral sequins on knitwear. Or go dotty with spot prints seen in the chic black, white and cream spot belted dress or the red and white spotted sundress, accessorize with the luxe colour-block chain handle bag.

Beverly Hills - Inspired by ‘50s Americana this glam look features hot pinks, oranges and the colour of the season: mint, combined with gorgeous statement prints. Highlights include a retro bloom print tunic and a maxi dress with glamorous embellished detail. Layer with a colour pop beaded cardigan for a touch of summer shimmer. Cropped tapered trousers in hot pink look sharp when styled with the Paisley peplum top. Acccessorize with metallic sandals by day, or heels by night.

Hazy Days - The laundered look is key for this season, where soft washed pastel tones deliver a really pretty casual look. Lace, broderie anglaise, washed linen mixes and soft metallics add a summery feminine edge to the utility influence. Ooze spring romance with the whimsical floral linen blazer with the versatile pastel skinny jeans and embellished jersey for a touch of summer embellishment.

Boutique - This spring “Boutique” delivers a collection of premium dresses and separates that radiate femininity and sophistication in a gorgeous palette influenced by summer meadows. Sweet spearmint is combined with tones of yellow through to tangerine and reflected in our signature floral prints. The collection delivers statement pieces which include the mint mesh and ruffle pencil dress and the stunning cool blue and mint green decorative floral dress with intricate embellished neck detail.

Florals add a burst of vibrancy in the easy to wear shift dress and an eye-catching print on print blazer and slim leg trouser, which can be styled together or worn as chic separates. For a touch of shimmer, decorative beads adorn timeless spring knitwear pieces which exude lady-like elegance when styled with the luxe floral cut-out embroidered pencil skirt. Whilst the iridescent beaded sleeveless top in sorbet yellow and jacquard white trouser will take you effortlessly from day to night.
