cKendree to host Bible Quiz Bowl in 2010

fun way to fellowship, meetew friends, and most

    portantly - learn the Bible!

e of the first questions from newstor Stephen Handy upon comingMcKendree in June 2009 was

What if McKendree were to host ammunity-wide Bible Quiz Bowl?!

answer that question, McKendreeggressively putting together planshost a Bible Quiz Bowl some time in

e early portion of the secondarter of 2010.

Were looking to launch the event inrly April communicationsordinator Kevin Sparkman states.

We will begin announcing how tosign up and form teams, how to

access the study material based onthe prospective questions, and lay

the general ground rules for theevent.

Details are still being finalized for thequiz bowl. It has yet to be determinedif the bowl will be in a tournamentformat that will span multiple daysand events, or if it will be just a one-day contest.

To ensure that this is a community-wide experience, one of theproposed rules is to have at least oneperson from each team be someonethat is not a McKendree Church

member or someone not activelengaged in our church commun

The intention behind the quiz boto provide an opportunity to leamore about Gods Word in a funhealthy competitive environmenThere may be one team to answcorrectly the most, however evewins in this event!
