Introduction

IT HAS BEEN AN AMAZING YEAR TO SEE MCIEP

TAKE ROOT AND BECOME A SUPPORTER

OF TEN KIDS WHO NOW HAVE A

BRIGHTER FUTURE

Dear Friend This past year has been a dream come true as the MCIEP roster has grown to support 10 children! We have been able to ease the hardship of school fees for the parents and kids we support and we are happy to report that we will continue to grow and expand our program for the coming year. During my visit to Kenya in February, I experienced thankful hearts and children who are overjoyed at the fact that they are not in fear of being pulled out of school during the school term. We are expanding our program in exciting ways. Many families are very poor and unable to buy the books and supporting materials needed for their child(ren) to do well. In 2013, MuliKids will send these school materials to our supported students to further their chances of doing well.

God has been gracious as we have found donors with our same heart for the education of underprivileged children. If you have partnered with us, thank you. If you seek to join us to help children see and have a brighter future then please contact us for more information or donate by visiting our website at mulikids.org. Please share the news of the work we are doing for these kids with your friends and family. Thank you for your interest and support in this worthwhile cause. MCIEP In Motion MCIEP supports students who demonstrate a desire to succ eed and eventually improve their future through university education.

Relationships We are in contact with each student and their parents, discovering their needs and des ires for education. We consider it a privilege to be a smal l part of improving their lives and perhaps the lives of generations to come. MCIEP seeks to encou rage, guide, and understand their situation so we can help most effectively. MCIEP also works with local chiefs, pastors, and school staff.

School Fees We are happy to report that in 2012 we were one ste p ahead of our funding for our students and did not have to turn any qualified students away. We have donors who have given small to generous one-time gifts as well as donors who send us donations on a monthly basis. MCIEP is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization whose operating expenses ar e only 10% of our total donations.

Fundraising We had a successful first fundraising event in 2012 , which enabled us to pay our students 2012 Term 3 fees and set aside funds for Term 1 of 2013. We are just over $ 2,000 per year to support our current roster of ten (10) children. If we obt ain additional donations, our goal is to increase our roster of primary school (middle) graduates and existing secondary (high school) school students to fifteen by the end of 2013. MCIEP is not supported by government funds but by private donations from citizens like you who are committed to making a difference by support ing this wonderful endeavor: the education of children. Give the gift of a future. Support a MuliKid for $22.50 a month or $270 a year.
