Meet Alumnus, FBI agent and espionage expert Steven Carr ’84 and learnhow he helped snare history’s most infamous moles. He has worked on along series of high-profile espionage cases, including those leading to thesuccessful prosecutions of high-ranking CIA officer Jim Nicholson androgue FBI agent Earl Pitts for selling secrets to Russia and of Bob Hanssen,who spied for the Russians for 15 years until his arrest in 2001. Carr was

the lead agent on the 2003 case of retired Air Force intelligence analyst Brian Regan, the firstspy case with a possible death sentence since the Ethel and Julius Rosenberg case. McDaniel Shuttle Service McDaniel College Weekend Shuttle runs on Friday, Saturday and Sunday to Safeway, Denny’s, Walmart,Food Lion, TownMall of Westminster, Cranberry Square Shopping Center, Target, Shopper’s, East Main Streetat Maggie’s Restaurant and West Main Street at Johansson’s, back to McDaniel then to the Owings Mills Malland the Owings Mills Metro Station. It departs from Winslow Center: 12 noon to 12 midnight. Sunday: 12 noon to 9 p.m. Students should arrive 15 minutes prior to departure to reserve a seat on the shuttle.

NEW, NEW, NEW – Shady Grove Metro Shuttle Service

The McDaniel shuttle will also be going to the Shady Grove Metro, a stop on the Washington DC metro system. The Shady Grove shuttle will run on Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Students getting picked up at either the Owings Mills or Shady Grove Metro should call ahead to the Department of Campus Safety 410-857-2202 to reserve a seat.

Parking StickersStudents with cars must register them at the Department of Campus Safety. Students are to registertheir cars first at https://my.mcdaniel.edu under Student Resources and then bring their driver’s license,automobile registration, and proof of automobile insurance to the Department of Campus Safety in order topick up their parking permit. The cost of car registration for the academic year (September 1, 2012 throughMay 31, 2013) is $100.00 and will be automatically billed to the student account. First-year students wholive on campus are not permitted to bring cars to campus. First-year commuting students will be issuedparking stickers upon request.
