MISSION STATEMENT
To provide a responsive range of programs and services to people with disabilities to maximise their opportunities in community life.

To be recognised as a leader and innovator in the provision of quality support services to people with disabilities.
PURPOSE STATEMENT
We work with people to create a life that works for them.
MCCALLUM COMMUNITY CONNECTION’S PROGRAM CAMPS RUN FROM FEBRUARY TO NOVEMBER 2020.
Our aim is for people to have an experience, relax and have fun.
Currently our camps run over weekends and our holiday shut down times in July and September.
Qualified staff support people to have a great time and experience something new, in a safe relaxing environment.
This booklet outline’s the costs associated with each camp, activities offered, and contact details.

*NDIS prices for camps are subject to change depending on individual support requirements.
Camps drop off and pickup point is from 29 Leopold Street, Alfredton, times will be specified on flyer and information sheet sent home before camp.
Camp pace ranges from Low to High, low being higher support needs, Medium being ambulant but may require assistance, high being able to get around easily as these camps may require lots of walking.
All camps have a waiting list and we will endeavour to allocate first preferences where possible.

ACTIVITIES COULD INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
• The Mariners Lookout
• Visit local cafes and shops
• Walk along the beach or have a swim (weather permitting)
• Visit the Brew House for a meal and a drink in the surrounds of old time charm
• Visit the Lighthouse ($16.50 entry fee)
• If we’re lucky, we’ll catch a glimpse of the SS Casino, a 1932 steamship which sank in shallow waters close to the shore

A seaside village nestled in the foothills of the Otway’s, Apollo Bay is one of the most beautiful stops along the stunning coast reached by the Great Ocean Road.

FURTHER INFO ABOUT SYLVANIA PARK:
Guests are introduced to our friendly goats, ‘Big Wig’ or ‘Hairy Harry’, our goat ambassadors, and learn about the history and husbandry of these appealing animals.
Our adjoining shop offers a variety of items produced from the beautiful mohair fibre including rugs, shawls, stoles, scarves and of course our handmade mohair ‘Hairy Bearies’

Sylvania Park offers farm tours on a working Mohair Goat property, 9 Kilometers from Horsham. A one-hour tour is conducted in a turn of the century restored shearing shed.
