McCall-Little Family Reunion A Past to Remember, a Present to Celebrate, a Future to Generate
Greetings McCall-Little Family:
We trust and pray this correspondence finds you and your family well, uplifted and
enjoying the blessings of God through His Son, Jesus Christ.
First and foremost, always giving honor, glory, and praise to God; thanking Him for
allowing us to celebrate another year of family and heritage. Secondly, we would like to
give thanks to the James Russell Little, Sr., family branch; hosts of the 2012 reunion in
Myrtle Beach, SC. Faith, Fellowship, and “Fun in the Sun” was the common theme. It
was indeed a blessing to see and spend time with new and old loved ones.
We—the Helen Grace Family Branch-- are very pleased to announce that the 2014
McCall-Little Family Reunion will be held in beautiful High Point, North Carolina, on
Friday, July 4th through Sunday, July 6th, 2014! This is one reunion you don’t want to
miss!
Our Committee members have worked diligently to plan a joyous and memorable
weekend, filled with activities and entertainment that all will enjoy. Join us as we
celebrate one another and maintain our spirit of unity, love, and fellowship as a family.
We pray that our reunion will be a time of remembering, rejoicing, recreating, renewing,
but, more importantly, reuniting. That’s what it’s all about; bringing family together!
We have set up an interactive family reunion website, which we encourage everyone to
visit and pass along to as many family members as possible. The site will serve as your
online communication tool to stay in touch with family members, receive updates, upload
and view photos, pay and register online, learn about your family history, and so much

glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord (Psalm 122:1)

Adult Hospitality Room
Throughout the Reunion Weekend, we will have an adult hospitality suite with board
games, mementos, old family photos, music, snacks and beverages. Please bring photos
and other memorabilia to share with other family members.
Game Rooms
Throughout the reunion weekend, we will also have two staffed games rooms for our
youth; “The Kid Spot” for small children and “The Teen Zone” for our teens and pre-
teens. These rooms will be filled with age appropriate board games, video games, toys,
TV’s, movies, music, snacks and beverages.

The reunion committee has selected the High Point Plaza Hotel & Conference Center as
our host hotel for the family reunion. The High Point Plaza offers a central location that
is near restaurants, shopping centers, and family-friendly entertainment. A limited
number of guest rooms have been blocked and are available at the group discount rates.
Special Group Rates for our Family Reunion:
King Guest Room: $69.00 / night + tax (Sleeps 2)
1 bedroom w/ 1 King bed
Double Guest Room: $69.00 / night (Sleeps 4)
1 bedroom w/ 2 double beds
King Suite: $139.00 / night + tax (sleeps 4)
1 bedroom w/ 1 King bed and adjoining room w/sleeper sofa
Double Suite: $139.00 / night + tax (sleeps 6)
1 bedroom w/ 2 double beds and adjoining room w/sleeper sofa
Guestrooms are equipped with flat-screen TV, coffee maker, iron & board, and work
desk with Complimentary High Speed Internet and Sleep Number Beds.
Please note: For your convenience, group rates are valid two days prior to the reunion
weekend and two days after reunion weekend. Guests are responsible for their own room,
tax and incidental charges upon departure. All rates are subject to applicable tax,
currently 12.75%.

Please ask for the McCall-Little Family Reunion.
Cut-off Date: Reservations received after June4, 2014 will be provided on a
space-available basis at prevailing rates. Rooms have been known to sell out fast.

Parking: The guest room rate does not include parking. The parking garage adjacent to
the High Point Plaza is a city owned garage. The fee for overnight guests is $6.00 per
car/per night. This fee will be charged at check-in per individual guest's authorization.
On-site Dining: Start your day off right at the High Point Plaza with a complimentary
hot breakfast, or dinner at the on-site restaurant, Bistro 135 South.
Alternate Hotels: We encourage all reunion guests to take full advantage of the special
group rate. There's nothing quite like staying close to family! Plus, it's rather
convenient as the majority of the reunion weekend events will be held at the host hotel!
However, we can provide a list of additional hotels in the area, per your request.

FUNDRAISING
In an effort to establish a general reunion fund and a college scholarship fund for
subsequent reunions, the committee would like to propose the following fundraising
project to aide in this initiative.
2014 Reunion Souvenir Book We are pleased to announce our first McCall-Little Family Reunion Commemorative
Souvenir Book. Make sure your family information is included!
Please consider placing an Ad in the McCall-Little Family Reunion Souvenir Book. This
Book will commemorate the 2014 McCall-Little Family Reunion by:
Honoring our past with historical / biographical information about our ancestors.
Celebrate the present by acknowledging accomplishments and special events.
Provide for our future through scholarships that will encourage and enable our
youth.
The book will contain biographies of each family branch stemming from Louise McCall-
Little with their Family Tree and a descendant directory as well as Reunion Program
information. Your advertisement will further enrich our Souvenir Book. In addition, you
may also help by soliciting ads from Businesses that you frequent, family members that
may not be able to attend, and friends.

2014 Reunion Registration Information
Besides the obvious task of making travel arrangements to attend the
McCall-Little Family Reunion, there are three (3) independent steps
required to officially register:
Submit full payment of Reunion Fees by the deadline date.
Submit completed Reunion Registration Form by the deadline date.
Reserve your guest room(s) at the High Point Plaza by the deadline
date (if applicable).
Payment Options
Option #1: Registration fees paid in full by June 4, 2014 for each
person attending the reunion.
Early Registration Drawing
Registration Forms received with full payment and postmarked on or prior to
May 1, 2014 will be entered into a drawing for the following item:
Grand Prize: One (1) Family Reunion T-shirt
Drawing will be held on May 5, 2014, and the Winner will be notified
immediately. The winner will also be posted on web site. Committee
members are not eligible for the drawing.

Family Reunion Fees
The Finance Committee has worked diligently to keep the registration fees
as affordable as possible while maintaining a quality event. Your advance
payment is appreciated in order for us to efficiently and effectively plan and
prepare for this grand occasion and for your arrival.
The Registration Fees are as follows:
$45 per Adult (18 and up)
$30 per Teen (12-17 yrs)
$25 per Youth (6-11 yrs)
FREE - Children (0-5 yrs)
Registration Fee includes all meals, activities, and admission for the Welcome Reception,
Family Picnic, and Banquet, as well as snacks in the Hospitality Suite.
For your convenience, two payment methods are available to submit
your registration fees:

card processing fee and a $0.50 transaction fee per ticket for this option--charged by the

In an effort to encourage our youth to pursue their own gifts, we will be hosting a talent showcase during the Reunion Gala Banquet. Acts may be anything from modern dance, to singing, to a display of intellectual prowess!
