Conveniently located in St. John’s Wood in the heart of London, the MCC Cricket Academy is London’s premier indoor cricket destination and one of the finest facilities of its kind in the world.
Open to the public, the MCC Cricket Academy, features state-of-the-art facilities, and will continue to help a wide range of cricketers - from elite players to absolute beginners - develop their batting, bowling and fielding skills.
Whether it’s learning the basics, sharpening your existing cricketing skills or simply enjoying a team-building day, the MCC Cricket Academy has a range of options perfect for you.

The perfect introduction to the game at the Home of Cricket.
Ideal for groups interested in learning the basics of this classic English sport, the Beginners’ Package offers an introduction to the core disciplines of cricket including batting, bowling and fielding.
Sessions last around one hour and can be tailored to suit numbers from five to fifty, with coaching provided throughout.

Dress code/kit Specific dress regulations are relaxed for those partaking in our Beginners’ Package, but wearing white or light coloured clothing with non-spiked trainers will be appreciated. Playing kit required for the session will be provided.

For groups with some experience in the game, the Intermediate Package offers the perfect opportunity to sharpen your existing cricketing skills under expert tuition and in state-of-the-art surroundings.
Working in small groups, coaches will offer close guidance on techniques to build and improve your game, whether you’re a batsman, bowler or all-rounder.
Protective cricket wear will be provided and sessions generally last between one and two hours.

Enjoy the ultimate MCC Cricket Academy Experience, unavailable anywhere else in the world – a net session with full use of our batting and bowling analysis tools, including Hawk-Eye, PitchVision and BOLA TrueMan.
As well as expert coaching on the day, you will be sent a video of your bowling performance including stats such as bowling speeds, pitch maps and beehives. Or if you are a batsman you will receive instant feedback at a computer kiosk in the net, plus videos will be sent to you at the end of the session.
Different group sizes and batting/bowling abilities can be accommodated.

For a charity fundraiser, team-building day or client entertainment with a difference, choose a private cricket event at the MCC Cricket Academy.
Whatever the occasion or group size, a wide range of playing formats can be catered for, from a two-hour head-to-head match through to a six- or eight-team round-robin tournament.
Our expert coaches will be on hand to organise and umpire the event, and offer tips and advice for those who need it! Prize-giving can be accommodated at the end of the session, and with a choice of on-site bars and restaurants, you will find the perfect finish to a day of healthy competition.

Lord’s is very close to the centre of London – just 1.5 miles from Marble Arch – and easy to reach by road, tube and bus. St John’s Wood is the closest tube station (approximately 5 minutes’ walk), and Baker Street, Warwick Avenue, Marylebone and Edgware Road are all within 15 minutes’ walk. Lord’s is also well served by buses, and several routes run alongside the Ground.
Free car parking is available for visitors (subject to availability and pre-booking).
