Habanera

La habanera (ou havanaise) est une danse, née vers 1830 à Cuba mais peut être aussi un genre musical latinoaméricain, ou catalan,il y a aussi sa fête et sa tradition associé, créée au siècle XIX par les pêcheurs catalans de Palafrugell. Les habaneres espagnol-argentines sont nées vers 1830 La Havane, capitale de Cuba (Caraïbes), issue de la contradanza, qui se sont rapidement repandues en Argentine et dont le tango va deriver. « La Paloma » (« La Colombe ») composée vers 1870 « L'amour est un oiseau rebelle », la habanera de l'opéra Carmen, composé en 1875 par Georges Bizet. Bizet a écrit pour Habanera non seulement la musique mais aussi les mots

« Carmen «  est l'une des œuvres du répertoire les plus jouées dans le monde. Carmen est une femme sulfureuse, sans attaches, sans religion, sans respect pour l'ordre établi, passant d'amant en amant ,ayant pour seule morale et pour seules règles sa liberté et son bon plaisir. Paiera cher son anarchie, car il sera tué par Don José, un officier en poste à Séville, le premier tombé amoureux fou, puis abandonnée pour le torero Escamillo.

The story is set in Seville, Spain, c. 1830, and concerns the eponymous Carmen, a beautiful Gypsy with a fiery temper. Free with her love, she woos the corporal Don José, an inexperienced soldier. Their relationship leads to his rejection of his former love, mutiny against his superior, and joining a gang of smugglers. His jealousy when she turns from him to the bullfighter Escamillo leads him to murder Carmen.

In the mid-19th century, the habanera developed from the contradanza,[5] which had arrived in Cuba (from France via Haiti) with refugees from the Haitian revolution in 1791.

The earliest identified "contradanza habanera" is La Pimienta, an anonymous song published in an 1836 collection. The main innovation from the contradanza was rhythmic, as the habanera incorporated the tresillo into its structure.[6]

For his opera "Carmen", Bizet wrote for the piece Habanera, not only music but also the words

"La Paloma", author uncertain, and the music of Carmen, is the world's most famous Habanera

La Habanera è una danza di origine spagnola molto simile al Tango, che si è diffusa nei secoli soprattutto nell'isola di Cuba. È una danza popolare dal ritmo lento e sinuoso. Usata nella musica d'arte a partire dal 1800. Oltre al brano di Bizet, altro famosissimo esempio di Habanera è “La Paloma” canzone spagnola di grandissimo successo e di autore incerto. Dell’Habanera di Carmen Bizet scrisse, oltre alla musica, anche le parole.

Carmen è una zingara che vive a Siviglia; molto bella e quindi corteggiatissima! Di lei si innamora follemente Don Josè,, soldatino proveniente dalla campagna e quindi ingenuo, sprovveduto! Per amore di Carmen, che accetta la sua passione, il ragazzo si rovina la reputazione e la carriera; ma Carmen non si fa scrupolo minimo di allontanarlo quando appare Escamillo, famoso ed affascinante torero. Dopo vari tentativi di riconciliazione, Escamillo , disperato , umiliato ed esasperato, uccide Carmen!Molti vedono nella figura della zingare l’Icona della Donna libera e ribelle, che non obbedisce a regole ed imposizioni ma segue solo il suo istinto, le sue passioni! Io ci vedo soltanto una donna estremamente egoista che calpesta senza alcun ritegno i sentimenti altrui..
