Hello,
It is barely conceivable how much the world has changed since the last MC Quarterly at the end of 2019. We are all dealing with issues on a personal and professional level that we could not possibly have foreseen.
What we have seen however is a tremendous attitude of resilience, and an extraordinary commitment to each other, and to our clients. Whilst confidentiality prevents us from sharing all of our client work, we have seen annual reports submitted, websites built, films made, live events broadcast, and dozens of other strategic and creative projects completed.
I am pleased to share a few examples below, together with a round-up of some thoughts and headlines from recent weeks. But most importantly this is a chance to say that regardless of when this Covid-19 crisis ends, we will always be here to do great work for our clients, and to look out for one another.

Coherent Brand
How do you inject creativity into the world of insurance?By showing how insurance can be smarter, faster and simpler.
Coherent approached us to clarify their brand story and relaunch the look and feel of their innovative insurtech startup to communicate who they really are to their B2B audience. We conducted research and developed a sharpened brand strategy for them, and brought it to life with a new visual identity including an animated logo. We also rebuilt their website, and introduced that brand and products through a series of films. The fresh and bold approach makes for an unusually vibrant take on the insurance industry and ensures a positioning that is unique and impactful.

Natura &CoFilm
How do you welcome a fellow beauty giant to your family?Announce it to the world. When Brazilian-based cosmetics giant Natura &Co welcomed global beauty company Avon to the Natura &Co family of Natura, The Body Shop and Aesop, they needed not just to announce the deal to the world, but also to engage with an audience of over 6m consultants, representatives, and employees. Working with Brunswick we created a purpose film, social animation, integration guide, stock exchange banners, social cards and infographics, as well as office and intranet banners and CEO interviews; all available in 10 languages. As a purpose-driven group, Natura &Co wanted to welcome Avon and highlight how the acquisition supported the group’s purpose and its strategy. The newly enlarged business, the world’s fourth-largest pure-play beauty group, has a vision not only to be the best beauty group in the world, but the “best beauty group for the world”.

Numis Investor comms
How do you tell a bank's story through their annual report? Position them as the investment bank of a generation. As a dynamic, agile, expert investment bank, Numis has a clear mission to create ever greater value for their stakeholders. For the 2nd year running they asked us to create their annual report, building on the report from last year. The result was a printed annual report and a pdf version for the website centred around their newly launched values – Partnership, Creativity, Dynamism, Excellence.

Ghadan 21Campaign
How do you celebrate the success of the Ghadan 21 initiative and instill national pride? Create a national public awareness campaign.
A campaign on behalf of the government of Abu Dhabi was designed to remind audiences about the economic accelerator programme and how its supporting the growth and development of Abu Dhabi. Working with Abu Dhabi Government Media Office (ADGMO) and Brunswick, we created an overarching identity and delivered an integrated campaign which included building projections and animations, OOH, advertising, digital banners, social media, and infographics as well as a dedicated campaign website.

Anglo AmericanAd campaign
How can you support a takeover?Speak directly to your shareholders.
Anglo American had put in a bid to take over Sirius Minerals, and wanted retail shareholders to accept the offer. Alongside Brunswick, and in line with strict takeover code advertising provisions, we produced a series of ads with emotive imagery and a clear call to action, to speak directly to shareholders, asking them to ‘vote their shares’. Working with Ptarmigan Media, ads were placed in a range of print and digital regional and national publications.
