This week?s Staff Spotlight is Chris Davis. Chris is the program coordinator of the Office of Diversity. Chris is from Gary, Indiana, and currently holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with an Accounting Concentration from Philander Smith College. Chis enjoys playing piano, poetry and music in his spare time.
In his role with the Office of Diversity, Chris has facilitated many beneficial programs. He has also partnered with the MC on planning committees, as well as with programming. I f you were able to attend our first event of the 2017-2018 Academic Year, the Multicultural Center Mixer, you saw some of his hard-work.
The MC is lucky to have Chris Davis and the Office of Diversity as a partner!Q & A w it h Chr is
What drew you to your current posit ion? Well, I was actually hired as a GA as I am currently getting my Master?s Degree in Finance. However, due to my work ethic, I was promoted to the Diversity Program Coordinator position. I expect to graduate this December!
What is a goal you have for this academic year? I want to continue to implement programs and initiatives geared towards our diverse students at Arkansas State. There truly is Unity in Diversity.
