Dear MCVP Candidate for term 2015/2016,

There is a lot if words that we could use to describe how powerful Member Committee experience is, but there is no time for talking.It's time for you to make this decision, if you want to spend whole next year contributing for something bigger that yourself, if you want to spend next year leaving and working with group of people who believe in AIESEC as much as you believe.

Being in MC is not easy, but every second of this experience is worth it. What is more, being in Member Committee of AIESEC in Poland is huge responsibility. It's responsibility for our network, 17 local chapters that are striving every day for more. It's responsibility towards AIESEC network to deliver number of leadership experiences that will allow whole organization to grow. What is the most important, it's responsibility towards Poland, to shape young leaders that will take ownership for our country and make it stronger in future.

If you are ready to leave this intense experience, full of challenges as well as opportunities for you to grow personally take next step and fill in this application.Generation 2015 needs brave individual. If you are reading it, you are definitely one of them.

• Setting functional direction for an entity• Creation and execution strategies for MoS achievement• Monitoring and tracking performance of entity in terms of area• Functional and cross-functional project management on national and

Working & living conditions

• The official term 15/16 will start on 1 July 2015 and will end on 30 June 2016

• Transition for Management Team starts on 11th May 2015, for the rest of team on 25th May 2015

• You should complete your transition on LC/MC level until this date because there will be no possibility to get days off during transition period

• The office is 15 minutes by walk from the house

Working & living condidtions

• The salary of every MC member is 1050 PLN (~250 EUR) * per month upon revision. The salary is enough to live, assuming you keep control over your expenses.

• Travel costs and fees for national conferences and team days are fully covered for the MC. Also travel costs and fees for international conferences and meetings are covered*.

• Accomodation and basic living necessities are provided.

*This information is subject to change based on the decision of the new MC team.

Requirements

Requirements from the compendium:• You need to be a member of AIESEC in Poland to apply to Member Committee• International candidates can apply if they are a member of AIESEC in another

country• Candidates to Member Committee need to have English exam passed at least on

level B in AIESEC in Poland scale. It can be proved by a certificate according to AIESEC in Poland regulations passed during General Assembly. Please bring the proper document with you to the General Assembly.

• Refer to chapter III of National Compendium to read more about elections to the Member Committee.

Selection process

• Application – released 6 February 2014, closure: 28.02.2015 8 PM (GMT +1)• Assessment Center – 03 March 2015 in Warsaw• Interviews – 9-17.03.2015 in Warsaw• Announcement – 18.03.2015• General Assembly- date will be know later

Vice presidents are selected by the MCP elect with support of current MC team. On General Assembly will be final approvement of candidate for specific position. Vice presidents are allocated to certain positions by Member Committee President elect according to individual talents and capabilities.

Role of MC VP iGCDP

To foster the sustainable development of operations in AIESEC in Poland, increasing number and productivity of GCDP

To deliver and develop support services to local committees in exchange programs in a way that it enables the network to achieve the expected outcom and MoS achievement

To develop, implement and manage programs in the national network, generating exchange experiences and enhancing global learning environment

Ensuring compilance of exchange processes with formal and legal requirements, both internally and externally

Role of MC VP BD

Ensuring sales and delivery of our portfolio of our products Ensuring quality of services provided to external partners of AIESEC in Poland BD team management Responsible for GEP contracts in Poland Cooperation with MCVP iGIP on driving GIP sales and improving sales intensity in LCs and

on building B2B channels for iGIP and downscaling it to LCs Driving GIP sales in NET Developing social selling skills in organization Cooperation with MCVP OD on R&R and MCVP F on maintaining cash flow in organization Cooperation with oGIP on GEP development both outgoing and incoming Driving synergy work and ELD support among NET (i.e. iGCDP sales) Responsible for opening up to new markets and tracking economic trends in order to

achieve organization’s full potential

Application guidanceThe application package for AIESEC in Poland MC 2015/2016 team should consist of:1. CV: give us all important information we need to know about you, your AIESEC

Experience, other jobs you have had, your contact details etc. You can use maximum 1 page to create your CV.

2. Endorsement letters: Collect at least 2 endorsement letters with contact details of authors. At least one endorsement letter should be provided by a customer/external stakeholder that have cooperated with you in your AIESEC Experience (representative of company, NGO, BoA, Alumni, Exchange participant)

3. Questionnaire- not more than 7 pages including title page.4. Scan of English certificate (not rerquired for native English speakers)5. *For international candidates: all positions are open except Finance Director & BD

team. Internationals will take part virtually in Assessment Center. More information during the process. Please provide us extra pdf file (1 page) with explanation of requirements to get a year-long visa and timeline.

Application Guideline

• Answer all 3 general questions.• Answer all functional questions from preferrable area. • General questions should not take more than 2 pages.• Whole application should not take more than 4 pages without title page.

General

1. What does AIESEC 2015 mean to you? Please evaluate the contribution of AIESEC in Poland in global MoS achievement. Based on that analysis assess what should be contribution of our entity in 2015 MoS(per program) in order to achieve mid-term ambition globally.

2. Considering the context of next year and changes that have been happening in AIESEC in Poland, please share with us what is in your opinion on the MC role? What should be the MC team’s approach towards the network both internally and globally?

3. What kind of team player characteristics are needed in this specific team that works on national level in AIESEC? Evaluate yourself based on the criteria proposed.

Functional questions - BD1. Analyze the Business Development area. Take into consideration account management

and MC products (sales & delivery). Choose and explain 3 key strategies for your term as VP BD. Please be specific on why is that a priority, how is it going to happen and what are the expected outcomes of the actions you set. Basing on that how do you see the evolution of the Business Development area in the term 15.16 on national and local level towards ELD programs? *

2. Based on the strategies that you proposed in the 1st question, design the BD corner structure on the MC team and point out the main role of each person including MCVP BD. How will you manage such a team? How do you see your daily work as a corner leader and member of Management Team?

3. What are the most developing sectors in Poland right now? How can AIESEC capitalize on that in terms of new sales? Please be specific and base your answer on real data.

4. What is the most important part of account management according to you? How would you conduct, track and manage account management on national level? Take into consideration the whole BD corner.

Functional questions- iGCDP1. What will the national and global plenary remember about the 2015/16

term in AIESEC Poland’s iGCDP area? Describe what will be the key milestones you commit to strive for during the next term to achieve your vision for the iGCDP area.

2. Describe what is your desired ultimate MoS for the iGCDP area in 2015/16 and what kind of strategies for each group of LCs will you implement to achieve your goal? (please explain the logic of putting LCs into groups in you answer)

3. Choose the 3 most crucial strategies that you want to implement in iGCDP in 2015/16 and describe what kind of synergies are needed to implement these strategies successfully (both on LC and MC level)

Functional questions– BD manager

1. Prepare the SWOT analysis of Business Development area based on the role of BD team in MC. Take into consideration internal and external factors. *

2. Analyze the product portfolio of AIESEC in Poland in terms of value created for corporate sector and youth. Propose areas of development and expected outcome. *

3. What is the role of GIP in corporate sector? How can BD team in MC drive GIP sales and delivery from national level? Please present 3 initiatives and their expected outcome.

4. Analyze our competition in terms of products and organizational partnerships. Propose 3 solutions that the BD team could implement in term 15.16 to overcome competition. Please be specific.

Send one zip file with all documents in the format: „MC VP_Name_Surname_MC_Poland.zip”.Make sure you create separate files for all documents.

You will receive a confirmation within 24 hours. If the application will not fullfill all requirements the candidate may be rejected from the process.

After sending your application package you will be invited to General Assembly. When the candidate receives the vote of confidence he / she will be asked to filling online MBTJ test and Belbin test (results will be shared only with MC selection

responsibles). The next step will be the Assessment Center and interviews. After the General Assembly the MCP elect has the right to reject candidates on each step of the process.
