Speaker at Indian Oil

Corporation on 24th November

2017. The session was on

“Dynamic Entrepreneurship”.

The session was very much

interactive and live.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Amit Vadera (HOD of MCA

Department) and Asst. Prof. Mr. Mitul Thakar

successfully completed a two days Microsoft

Certification Programme on “HTML-5”on 17th and

18th Nov, 2017. The Certification Programme was

held at Sunshine Campus in association with

Microsoft Technical Associates.

The paper written by Asst. Prof. Khushbu Dave (HOD of MBA

Department) on “Evaluation of Performance Appraisal of Employees

in Hospitals with reference to Rajkot City” has been published in

“International Journal of Application or Innovation in Engineering

& Management” (IJAIEM) with ISSN 2319-4847 and impact factor

7.319.

Faculty of MCA @ Sunshine group of Institutions

had arranged Placement Drive on 4th October 2017.

Cygnet Infotech Pvt. Ltd, Ahmedabad was invited

for the pool campus. The company had offered salary

package of 2.2 to 3 lacs per annum. Online Aptitude,

Technical test, Group Discussion, Individual

Technical rounds are conducted for the selection

procedure. More than 150 students from different

colleges had registered their candidature.

had organized “Corporate

Day” on 15th Oct. 2017 for the

final year students of MBA.

Owners and HR managers

from reputed companies

interacted with the students.

They discussed about

expectations and limitations of

each other. This session

provided a very good scope to

students to put forward their

views and questions in front of

various corporates.

During 1st to 3rd Nov. 2017 a special training schedule of 18 hours was

arranged for MBA final year students to make them more competitive

according to the need of corporate world. Under this program specific

training sessions were taken by highly experienced and well known

personalities form corporate & academic field.

Knowledge Class UDAAN @ SUNSHINE

Sunshine Group of Institutions Rajkot organized a training

session on Human Resource for the final year students of MBA

on 5th Oct. 2017. The session was delivered by Mr. Rahul

Khemani Gujarat State HR Head and Mr. Jayom Dave Deputy

Manager - Saurashtra & Kutch region from Divya Dhaskar

Group. They made students familiar with the expectations of the

industry from the new joiners. The session was facilitated by Mr.

Yashpalsinh Zala Training and Placement Officer @ SGI.

Events UDAAN @ SUNSHINE

Sunshine Group of Institutions, became the Venue partner

for the Faculty Development Program on “Android

Developer Fundamentals” jointly Organized by Gujarat

Technological University and Google. Ms. SimmyAnand

from Google was the chief trainer. The FDP was a success

with the participation of faculties from different colleges of

Gujarat. It was a 5 days workshop from 31st Oct to 4th Nov

2017.

An FDP on “Selection of Appropriate Statistical

Tools& Hypothesis Testing Using SPSS” was

successfully arranged by SGI on 25th Nov. 2017. The

session was delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Pankaj Madan

Dean, Faculty of Management Studies,

GurukulKangri University, Haridwar. More than 40

faculties from various institutions participated in the

FDP. The real time practice of SPSSand one to one

interaction with the participants made the session more

meaning and worth attending. The FDP was highly

appreciated by all the participants. Remarkable efforts

of Prof. (Dr.)VikasArora, the entire management dept.

and IT supporting staff made this program successful.

SGI is well known for its value creation and constant

efforts to mentor the students for overall

development. A Student Development Program on

“Case Method of Learning” was conducted by Prof.

(Dr.) Pankaj Madan Dean, Faculty of Management

Studies, GurukulKangri University, Haridwar. On

23rd and 24th Nov. 2017 sir discussed the case studies

with all the students of MBA and i-MBA. Students

found the session very interesting and they enjoyed

the easy and interacting way of explaining.

“The Inspiring Life of Lord Krishna”

Sunshine Group of Institutions had arranged a Motivational Talk on “The Inspiring Life of Lord

Krishna” on the auspicious occasion of Gita Jayanti on 30th November, 2017. The event was graced with the presence of Academicians and Corporate dignitaries. It was an awesome and marvelous experience to gain insight of the holy book, The Bhagvad Gita.

Sunshine Group of Institutions had arranged a

Motivational Seminar for graduation students on 15th

December 2017. Prof. Dr. Vikas Arora, Director Sunshine

Group of Institutions, renowned motivational speaker had

delivered talk on the motivational topic “Golden Mantras

for Success”. Chairperson Mr. MeeneshMathur, Promoter

Mr. Dharmendra Pal, Chief Guests Dr. MehulRupani, Dr.

Vijay Pithdia, Dr. Sanjay Bhayani has inaugurated the

program by lightening of lamp. Sir has inspired students to

become successful professional as well as inculcate life

values in their attitude. He had shared valuable experience

with students and motivated them to excel in life. The

seminar was a great success with huge participation of

more than 1500 students from different colleges of Gujarat.

The event was blessed with the presence of Principals,

Head of the Departments, and Faculty members from

different colleges.

. Being a leading management institute, Sunshine Group of

Institutions arranged a grand motivational seminar on

“Abhi Nahi to Kabhi Nahi“on 16th December 2017. Prof.

Dr. Vikas Arora, Director Sunshine Group of Institutions,

Distinguished Soft Skill Trainer, International

Motivational Educator and Life Coach was the keynote

speaker. Dr. Sarita Magu, Head of Radiology

Department, PGI, Rohtak was the chief Guest for the

event. 11th and 12th standard students who are in the

crucial phase of their learning period need a very much

mental support and inspiration to shape their future.

With this thinking in mind the seminar was a milestone

achievement as more than 1200 students from different

schools of Rajkot took the benefit form the seminar.

Industrial visit @ Tilara Polyplast

A visit to Tilara Polyplast was organized by SGI

for the students of MBA semester III with HR

speciation on 1st Dec. 2017. The HR head Ms.

Hiral Bhojani explained the efficient practices

and implementation of change and

organizational development in the company.

Students found this visit quite gratifying and

fruitful.

SGI have arranged Parent Teachers Meeting on

9th November, 2017. Parents of all the students

from MCA and B.Voc are invited to have

interaction with faculties for getting information

about the progress and overall development of

their wards. The objective of the Parent

Teachers meet was to share the existing status of

the students and unfold the hidden talents of

the students by discussing with their parents.

Workshop on HTML

A two days Certification Programme was organized

on “HTML-5” on 17th and 18th Nov, 2017. Sunshine

Group of Institutions and Microsoft Technical

Associates jointly organized the program and

certificates are issued to all participants who have

successfully completed the course by Microsoft. It

was a great exposure for MCA and B.Voc students.

Picnic - MBA

Under the guidance of Ms. Seema Arora a

well-known trainer & counselor all the

students practiced yoga and meditation in

order to adopt it as a routine to take a step

towards a healthy life. It is very essential to

spread awareness of Yoga along with its

benefits. Sunshine Group of Institutions

Rajkot keeps on arranging such sessions on

regular basis. Recently it was arranged on

27th Oct. 2017.

SGI had arranged a picnic for the students

of MBA and i-MBA on 4th Nov. 2017 at

Hingolgadh. It was really a refreshing and

memorizing day for the students as they

enjoyed games, explored new places and

had a great fun.

On 11th November, 2017 students of MCA

2nd, 4th semester and B.Voc went for Picnic

to “Junagadh – BorDevi”. Students enjoyed

the natural environment of the place. Picnic

provided them a short break from the

regular schedules and helped to spend

quality times with faculties and friends.

Students of MBA & i-MBA from Sunshine Group of Institutions Rajkot

participated in the event “Samvad with Mr. P Chidambaram”

organized by Sanj Samachar on 28th Oct. 2017 at Rajkot. During this

event students came to know about the features of open economy,

impact of liberalization, current state of the economy etc. discussed by

Mr. P Chidambaram the former Union Minister of Finance.

Students of MBA along with the faculty members participated in

the 7th Annual Conference on Quality Management with

“GLocal Challenges: Excellence through Quality and

Innovation” jointly organized by American Society for Quality

(ASQ) LMC Ahmedabad and Institute of Management, Nirma

University on 18 & 19th Nov. 2017. Students had great exposure

through the interactive sessions and industrial visits.

Students of MBA Sem. III from Sunshine Group of Institutions Rajkot

participated in Youth Festival “Xitij 2017-18” organized by Gujarat

Technological University in Oct. 2017. Students participated in many events

like On the Spot Painting, Ad Making Competition, Quiz, Rangoli etc. Six

students named Mr. Dhaval Radadia, Mr. Rajesh Ghorai, Ms. Reshu Lalwani,

Ms. Kinjal Pambhar, Mr. Dharmik Vegad, Mr. Rakesh Arathawani got 1st

Rank at Regional Level for Ad Making Competition. They got qualified and

participated at State Level also. Campus Director Prof. Dr. Vikas Arora and

faculty members heartily congratulate all winners and participants.

Students of MBA and i-MBA participated in the Group Discussion and

Debate competition organized by Airport Authority of India on 3rd Nov.

2017. Ms. Bobby Thomas from MBA semester I achieved the position of 2nd

Runner Up in the GD Competition. We heartily congratulate her along with

all the participants.
