It has often been said that a year is not enough to explore all of the arts and culture The City of Lights has to offer. The Capital City of France has long enjoyed a fully-deserved reputation as heaven’s gate to a myriad of astounding museums, galleries, monuments, and castles such as Le Louvre and Versailles. In addition to historical monuments in-cluding La Bastille and the Eiffel Tower and more recent attractions such as the Pompidou Center or la Cité des Sciences and many more.

Paris is also known for its paintings, opera, perfor-ming and contemporary arts, and cinema as the earliest film makers, the Lumière brothers, were French. And with names such as Voltaire, Hugo, Dumas, and Camus, it is not surprising to learn that Paris has received the most Nobel Prizes in litera-ture in the world.
