ABOUT CHANDIGARH GROUP OF COLLEGES (CGC)

CALL FOR PAPERS

Established with the vision to be the most preferred educational group with global recognition,

Chandigarh Group of Colleges has become one of the leading Educational Groups of the country.

Chandigarh Group of Colleges started its first Campus at Landran in the year 2001 with a mere strength of

100 students with just 2 courses (MCA & BCA) to offer. The group, under the dynamic leadership of

S.Satnam Singh Sandhu, Chairman and S.Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President, has made an exponential

growth in a span of just 12 years.

With the current student strength of more than 13000+ students, CGC offers 34 different

professional courses in the diverse fields of Engineering, Computer Applications, Business Management,

Education, Pharmacy, Bio-Technology, Hotel Management, Airlines & Tourism.

The Conference looks for significant contributions in the form original research work in all major

fields that have a direct impact on the economy of a country. The SRIJAN'14 is composed of the following 4

Technical Sessions and all the Technical Sessions are expected to create an ideal platform to exchange

research ideas to academia and R&D organizations in their respective fields:

Technical Session 1: Marketing Management Technical Session 2: Financial ManagementTechnical Session 3: Human Resource Management Technical Session 4: General Management

Change is on the anvil as myriad opportunities are opening up for every sector. The true challenge is

in addressing the hurdles that may slow down the process of transformation and enable to pursue excellence

to be globally competitive. Hence the focal theme for 1st National Conference of CGC, Jhanjeri is based on

Global Advancements and Futuristic Trends in Management. SRIJAN'14 aims at bringing together the

researchers, scientists, academicians, and scholar students and providing a forum for the dissemination of

original research results, new ideas, various challenges and their possible solutions. The conference is also

expected to ponder upon the mechanism of networking, collaboration and joint effort among the conference

participants to advance the theory and practice as well as to identify major trends in various aspects of

management.

With continuous efforts, dedication and commitment, the popularity of CGC has risen manifold among the

students which prompted the Group to start its 2nd Campus at Gharuan, Mohali in the year 2009, which has now been

elevated as Chandigarh University. CGC's third Campus – CGC Technical Campus (Jhanjeri, Mohali) was established

in the year 2012 with the state of the art infrastructure equipped with the most modern and latest facilities.

GUIDELINES FOR PAPER SUBMISSION

· Each submitted paper should contain an abstract of not more than 200 words in 12-point font size,

Times New Roman font, with 1.5 line spacing in MS Word Format. · The first page of Abstract/paper should include: (1) Title of the paper; (2) Name, affiliation, phone no e-mail and address of each author; (3) A maximum of 5 keywords of the paper.· Prospective authors are invited to submit full paper (any appropriate style) [email protected] by March 14, 2014.· If an author has got more than one accepted papers, each paper has to be registered.· All the authors are required to pre-register by paying registration fees on or before March 23, 2014. Without Pre-registration, papers will not be included in the conference proceedings.· The author has to submit his original work. The policy of plagiarism will be applicable. · All the submitted papers/abstracts will go through reviewing process. The participative peer review will support the selection process of those papers/abstracts tha will be accepted for their presentation at the conference, as well as those to be selected for their publication.

· PUBLICATIONS: The length of each camera-ready paper will be limited to 6 pages. The accepted paper can be sent to [email protected] in MS Word format. The accepted papers will be considered for publication in subsequent issues of the following :
