The Adult Accelerated Programs at Benedictine University provide students with the knowledge, skills and creative problem-solving ability demanded by today’s modern workplace. Our blended delivery format promotes communication and teamwork. The classes are taught by faculty who are experts in their fields and who will help you reach your goals. The Adult Accelerated Programs at Benedictine University are suited to fit your life with multiple programs and locations. Our programs are affordable and feature several convenient payment options.

M.B.A.

The Adult Accelerated M.B.A. program is offered in evening and

Weekend College learning team formats. Students start at

the same time, progress together as a group and take one course

at a time with a set schedule for the duration of the program.

The program is based on a traditional curriculum that has been

redesigned to fit the needs and schedules of today’s working

adults. All courses are based on adult learning principles and

are delivered in a blended format that combines the most

effective aspects of live instruction with self-directed

Internet-based learning.

Evening classes meet one weeknight from 6:00-10:00 p.m.

Weekend College classes meet every other weekend on Saturday

and Sunday from 8:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m. (quantitative classes

meet 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.). In addition to the weekly classroom

session, students complete an asynchronous 4-hour session online

through Desire2Learn (D2L).

The Adult Accelerated M.B.A. is a 64 quarter credit-hour program designed to meet the growing global need for knowledgeable, principle-centered organizational leadership. Intended to prepare managers as both economic and ethical leaders, the M.B.A. program emphasizes a comprehensive integration and application of business knowledge.

Admissions Requirements• Official transcripts from all previous

colleges attended, demonstrating successful completion of a bachelor’s degree conferred by a regionally accredited institution of higher education with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.0.

• A minimum of two significant years of work experience in business, industry, public service, military service or other professional employment.

• Two letters of recommendation from individuals familiar with the applicant’s professional work experience.

• A one-page statement of educational and career goals.

• A resume which includes chronological work history.

• GMAT or GRE score submission may be waived due to GPA, previous coursework, or passing grades in MBA 520 and MBA 541 upon advisement.
