Defense, government-wide, and non-government information systems. Importance of strategic and contingency planning, systems integration, and information sharing. Modern Techniques in Crime Investigation - Theory and practice of modern investigation methods for public and private sector agencies. Cyber Crime Investigations and Forensics I - Intrusion detection methodologies, tools and approaches to incident response. Computer forensic principles, including operating system concepts, registry structures, file system concepts, boot process, and file operations. Introduction to forensic tools.
