Biographies–FilmmakersSaraBlecher–DirectorSaraBlecherisanaward-winningfilmanddocumentarydirectorandproducer.HermostrecentfilmsareAYANDAandDISEKANNA,bothofwhichwerereleasedin2015.AYANDApremieredattheLosAngelesFilmFestivalwhere it receiveda specialmention in theworldcategoryandwas selected toopen theDurbanInternationalFilmFestival.DISEKANNAwonbothbestfilmandbestdirectorattheSouthAfricanFilm and Television Awards (Saftas) in 2016.
