Letter from the Administrator
Hello Family and Friends,
I would like to take a moment to introduce our new
Memory Care Coordinator. Lisa Sheets, RN, joined
the Regent Court family on March 22nd. She comes
to us with more than 7 years of experience in long
term care. Lisa enjoys riding her motorcycle, fishing,
camping and she loves animals. She has a dog named
Sammy and two cats, Imhotep and Anubis, aka
Good Kitty and Bad Cat.
Lisa served in Desert Shield, Desert Storm and
Operation Restore Hope in Somalia with the US
Army and was stationed in Germany, Ft. Carson,
Colorado and Schofield Barracks, Hawaii.
Lisa has already made several positive changes and is
committed to ensuring that your loved one receives
the highest quality care possible.

Our non-denominational
church service is tailored to
the needs of individuals with
dementia. The public is
invited to attend this service.
April showers bring May flowers…
Although we didn’t get to spend too much of our time outdoors
during April, we have enjoyed watching the rainfall and seeing the
beautiful flowers bloom. The off and on showers of rain sure did
make us sleepy, but we managed to take an outing this month to our
local Coffee Culture, which was perfect for keeping our senses
awake. We enjoyed a cup of “joe”, shared an apple streusel muffin,
along with good conversation. The lovely staff also gave us different
types of coffee beans for us to smell and touch for sensory! Other
fun activities revolved around Easter Sunday.
We made bunnies out of cups,
got messy with shaving cream
and paint to make marbled eggs,
dyed Easter eggs with the help of
our volunteers and even had an
Easter egg hunt for our staff! As
the bunnies of April get put away,
we will shift our focus to May
flowers in honor of all of our
mothers. We will be holding a special event this year that will be
open to all mothers:

each moment with your mother and have your picture
professionally taken with her by our very own, Jo Calland.
Choose whether you’d like your picture emailed, mailed or if
you’d like to come pick it up at our community. All pictures
picked up will come with a complimentary frame. Light
refreshments provided. Enjoy church service by Jeff Hale
and worship music by Jeff Lesmeister during our morning
session. Our afternoon session will feature Suzannah Doyle
on piano. We look forward to seeing
