Dear Friends,

This guide will likely arrive at your home a few short days before our Hope Walk Takes a Hike event, being held May 2 – May 8. If you haven’t registered yet, there’s still time to join us for this uniquely reimagined event. We’ll be spending our time that week on our favorite trails enjoying nature,

and hopefully some warmer temperatures! See the next page over for information on how you can register.

Earlier this spring we launched a new smartphone app and website tool which allows for easier bookings of our programs and the ability to log in and maintain your own personal Stewart’s account. This is just one of the ways our team has adapted and grown to be able to serve those touched by cancer in a more personalized and thoughtful way. If you haven’t downloaded our custom Mindbody app, just head to the App Store or Google Play store and search for Stewart’s Caring Place. You only have to make your account once and we’ll be sure to send you program reminders by email and optional text.

We provide a caring, relaxed environment to those of all ages touched by any phase or stage of cancer. All supportive services and programs are provided at no cost.

Stewart’s is your landing place when you or someone you love has been diagnosed with cancer and you’re not sure where to start. We strive to be an exemplary resource for cancer support services while being a sustainable, community based organization where hope and compassion can be found.

Please remember, appointments are available to help you learn more about our services and community resources. Let our team guide you to the right services and programs for you. We want you and your entire support team to feel comfortable and relaxed during your visit to Stewart’s. I hope to see you soon!

Take Home KitsFor those in treatment or caring for a loved one, it may be difficult to attend scheduled programs,

but we recognize the need to stay connected and maintain personal growth. Butterfly Boxes (appropriate for all ages) help you or someone you love find inspiration and strength

during their personal journey with cancer. Each box contains art or writing materials and self-guided instructions that encourage self-expression through creativity, mindfulness, and play.

The Butterfly Box program is open to Northeast Ohio residents touched by cancer. Reserving a Butterfly Box can be done by a participant, for a participant, as a surprise from

a loved one or friend, as a pay-it-forward in honor or memory of a participant, to an adult, teen or child undergoing treatment, and to caregivers and survivors.
