2 MAJOR EXECUTIVES APPOINTED The Frye Company Names Adrienne Lazarus CEO
On May 6, Global Brands Group Holding Limited named Adrienne Lazarus as CEO of The Frye Company, one of the group’s controlled brands. Ms. Lazarus is an accomplished fashion and retail industry executive with 25 years of experience and a strong track record of building and growing teams and businesses at Intermix and Ann Taylor.
Ms. Lazarus’ appointment reflects Global Brands’ strategic focus on positioning Frye as a leading lifestyle brand. Before that, she was President at Intermix, a multi-‐brand fashion retailer from 2009 until it was acquired by Gap Inc. in 2013. At Intermix, Ms. Lazarus successfully repositioned and led a turnaround of the company, increasing its sales and appeal to the contemporary fashion customer. Prior to that, she held several positions at Ann Taylor, including vice president of the Ann Taylor brand, where she played a leading role in launching Loft and growing it to more than 500 stores with more than $1 billion in sales.
